Thread: Lousy Customer Service and Slicing Bug

So I was slicing a brand new Czerka carbine for a friend. The goal was all the damage slices, one speed and one critical for a total of 100% sliced. Its a sweet Czerka made with 157 gorax shards. It has really low sac, and an 8% slice will bring it right to the cap. Its max is 863, so with 8%, i will get to 932.
I was not sure if I could get the last slice in as the crafted cap is 931, but I fugured I'd try. Well, I sliced it the first 2 times, no problem. Then, the option for the last data slice shows green - cool! I apply the slice, the Illegal Core Booster gets used up, and ......... nothing happend. The gun now shows the 8% damage slice, BUT the max did not increase, the ICB is gone and the customization is 60% (3 damage slices).
So I submit a ticket (3960520).
I get the boilerplate crappy response. Please bug it in game, blah blah blah blah....
Well, I for one am sick of it. They want us to play this game and enjoy it, but then, when we thnk we might have something special, they pull the rug right out from under us and respond with these crappy BS boilerplate answers. Maybe, just maybe, if they took the time to fix these problems from time to time, people would not get so pissed off. This great gun is now ruined and the CSR that responded to my ticket could give a flying F.
So if any of you Dev types read this post, this is a good example of why people are upset with the game. In life and in business, everyone has problems. Its not just acknowleding that you have problems, but it is how you
FIX THEM THAT IS IMPORTANT!!!!
Now please, the gun is in my inventory. Can you please send one of the CSRs to my data and either apply the slice correctly, or back it out and give me back the ICB so I can use it somewhere else. Is that really too much to ask?

Here's the problem: Some dev, somewhere down the line, decided that slicing damage caps should be lower than crafted damage caps. This means you can't bring a weapon up to max with a slice. Stupid, ain't it?

Then why would the slicing menu allow me to apply the third damage slice if it would not apply fully?

because the slicing system is borked since they put it in

Two reasons.
- They hate Smugglers.
- If it doesn't directly involve Jedi, it is not considered Important.

Don't hate on the Bounty Hunter profession, the only reason they get anything is because it is directly related to the Jedi.

i dont hate them.. =) i was one of them for awhile. I m also still SL, but that doesnt matter. Dont post anything that is not related to SL on the Boards. they dont like it.

I used to be a Squad Leader, myself, a long time ago. The template was Smuggler/Squad Leader/Pistoleer. I dropped it because I got bored with playing three broken professions and picked up the Triple Threat template.

right now i justkeep it for/sys.. because i can use while piloting.. well atleast i could.. havent tried it in awhile

Funny, I always thought that was the most useless command because you can use groupchat... :?

yea.. but group chat or the chat windows will most likely ignored or overlooked when you are in situation that take all your attention. A nice colored /sys can make a difference there.

Did the Minimum Damage increase?.This happened to me with a Heavy Lightning Rifle.The 3rd slice was accepted but only the min damage was improved.
