The Occupation system and the new TEF system are up on Test Center along with the Player Event perks and miscellaneous other fixes. Clicky
As far as the Smuggler side of this goes:
1.) How thick are the scans? Anything new?
2.) How often do the scans occur? Anything new?
3.) How well is our scan evasion working for faction status and contraband evasion?
4.) If you have anything else to add, say so
I think this would be very beneficial for the Smugglers who aren't on Test Center or won't have time to test and experimentthese changes before they hit live. What have we got?
*edit: added Clicky for convenience*

One thing I've always wondered about factional bases. Theoretically, couldn't I as a Rebel, buy faction and get a base, with which I can transfer the deed to an Imperial, and then he goes and places it as an Imperial base? Last time I remember, factional bases don't say you have to be Rebel or Imperial specifically to place one, just that you had to be Overt.
Couldn't this mean if I wanted to be a real dirty Smuggler, I could supply the Empire with bases gained from the Rebel Alliance?
Sorry that this is off-topic, I just had to ask.

The city stuff doesn't appear to be in yet so its hard to say whats going on there. And TEF seems really, really broke so I haven't even tested things like /del or trading.
I can say though that theres a lot of oddness with the cost of faction perks at first glance as well as another change to the recruiter menus.. wording and the obvious ability to buy installation type stuff as a former "covert"
best bet is to jump on and start playing there to get the info you want... join the publich chat channel (info in tc galaxy forum) or be patient - i konw its hard - until things start settling and good, non-buggy info can get out.

Don't make me whip the Delta Force out on your hijacking ass. You know what Chuck Norris can do. You'll have so many Total Gyms showing up on your front door, you won't know what to do!

Someone please test to see if we have to be overt to delegate FP, or if we are "PvE" if we are able to.

I will if they dropped a character builder in the game. They wiped my triple threat a couple months ago. :?

expect to see this on TC-Gorath(at least that is my current guess is for what new tc will be up) when it comes up - Char builders should be active on it. TC-Prime will not likely have the froggies.. but I encourage you to make a perma character there (or at least visit and give us your vet rewards that you are eligible for on TC ^_- )

I've got to make a mental note to get to Colonel before this goes live.

To a previous poster, I tried to place an IMperial base as a ebel( for farming purposes) and was told i needed to be a declared member of teh Imperial faction..

Okay, just wanted to make certain that there was a distinction in the system between Imperial Player bases and Rebel Player bases, other than who placed them.

errr, does anyone knows what happened to faction base deeds?
I know that current bases were turned into PvE base, but what's up with bases deeds? also converted into PvE base deeds?

Are NPCs at the PVE bases "beefed up"? Or are they still the same, weak, "farm-able" NPCs from before?
What are the FP costs for the bases?
Are PVP bases more costly than PVE bases?
