New master here, just started slicing.
5k for weaponds/ pieces of armor, 35k per suit of armor.
No complaints, so far.

Just curious... Why the discount for a full set of armor?
I charge per slice. Regardless of item. I don't see having a price break on a full set would bring in that many more customers.

I was thinking on going higher on the armor, but I didn't know a good price to try.

My standard price 5k per item, and if I'm in the right mood, I'll do 1 piece for free on a suit of armor. I started charging this about 4 months ago as my "leave me alone unless you're desperate" pricing schedule. I don't think it works for that any more. People seem to be really desperate for slicing now.

i advertise 4k per item. for a suit of armor i usually do it for 35k (1k discount) and if someone wants alot of items sliced i usually just make a price up instead of chargeing exactly4k per item. i make my own supplies so i could go pretty low and still make a profit. i have a good many repeat customers even after i did a 18% speed slice on there 30l llc. i don't slice for free though, even if it's under 20%. any slice is better than it was before but discounts seem to make customers happy.

I charge 10k per slice, no discrimination of armour/weapon or faction.
If they don't like it they can find another Master Smuggler, i'll be happy to go and earn/farm my credits from the mission terms.

I tend to charge 5k per slice, comp suit for 30k. I've notice that my armor slice %s aren't as high as my weapon slices. I know it's completely random, I just find that I'm luckier with weapons. I don't do anything for free, or lower prices for a 'bad' slice, but if I'm disappointed with a slice outcome I sometimes tip the player back a few credits. Because of that, I've already gotten a few dedicated customers.

I'm slicing 5k per item regardless of amount or item type. The only exception is that I agreed to do 50 items for 200k (4k per item) but that's a special case. Currently I"m thinking about upping my rate to something like 8k.. not sure yet though.

Erm... on a toon I use on Shadowfire (not giving name), charges 1k per slice... rest is gratis. What a cheap master smuggler heh. I feel bad that I am charging that much.

Five grand per item, flat rate. Free for guild mates. I charge more if they give me a hard time. I don't mind someone saying "That's a bit steep" going to browse the market, can't find anyone else and come back to me. But if they go "5k????? U CRAZE!!1!11!!", and then come back later, its eight grand.
Why do I feel justified charging this much?
'Cause of all the b.astards who felt justified charging fifteen grand for me to slice thier container, want it back, and call me a thief if its junk or I took a while to slice it while I was first leveling.
I can understand charging little for it, for the longest time, I only charged five hundred credits per slice. Then I realized, its my time they're using, and the slice is a powerup to thier item that's permanant. If they say it isn't because the item wears out, I tell them its not my fault that they don't take better care of thier equipment and/or get it repaired when neccisary.
Am I being mean? Only when they get mean with me.

I charge 5k a slice no matter what. Actually I haven't heard a complaint in a loong time now, so maybe I'm starting to become a cheap slicer?
