There is no logical reason a smuggler would give up his surprises and special equipment(sliced stuff) by sharing them with everyone for a few lousy bucks.

I'll have 3 DE10's to slice for myself soon, I think I may take them elsewhere ....
And yes, my no 1 pain is the customers, not them all though, just the whiny "your too expensive", "you ruined my weapon" (with a 25% speed slice), "I'll pay you 10k to slice 2 billion weapons" types.

Idont like the trade window...I've ended up with more than one weapon/piece of armor for free and had to track people all across the galaxy to give it back. If only people would give me bigger tips instead of presents....

The freakin randomness of it. Not the %'s, but what stat is getting sliced.
Did a full set of composite armor for a guy and got (3) 43% encumberance slices (Helm, Chest, Boots). None of the other slices were below 30% but only the gloves got effectiveness. He could dang near put on the whole set without buffs.
"Well, that sucks. I'm a tank and needed effectiveness.. that armor isn't good for me now"
Grrr. /slap

People who come up to you asking if yoru slice about 10 weapons. It then takes them 10 minuites to work out how the trade system works only for you to find out that the weapons are already sliced...
..Do People not read that bit at the bottom of the weapon chart?

The No.1 Reason Slicing Sucks:
o No Criminal Recourse
Everyone and their grandma is getting their knickers sliced - by smugglers in the middle of Coronet. There is no danger, no risk of being an outlaw - we're even allowed in cities.
But a close No.2 are the customers
We're going to need a disclaimer hotkey soon, if sliciing isn't made illegal.

people trying to tell me that tool quality matters.
I just put down 99.7 effectiveness Clamps/Knives on everything I manufacture, helps quiet that down quickly. Oh, and I started a rumour that slicing effectiveness depends upon the quality, type and manufacturing time of the product - essentially shifting the blame to the weapon/armorsmiths for those clients 'less informed' than others.

People asking me to slice while im getting buffs
People asking me to slice while im surrounded by quenkers and huurtons
People who don't know how to use the trade window
People who ask for certain slices
People who claim 110c/% is too much
People who don't understand the phrase "I'm out of WUKs"
People who challenge you if a slice is lower than 30%
People saying you used the wrong process to slice, while not realising that it is only a 3 menu process of clamp-knife-knife
People who make you wait for them
Groups that group you only so they can try to get free slices from you
Groups that disband you and challenge you for not doing the above
Groups surrounding me while I slice, making my FPS like 5, and making it near impossible to do anything
Faction people you don't know asking you to slice a terminal for them
