Thread: I think i've finally settled on my NON-BH template !
I went Master Smuggler/Master Commando/Pistoleer for my non-BH template.
Just something really enjoyable about rooting someone and then giving hosing them down with a flamethrower. (I'm from Texas, we like to barbecue.)
A Proton Grenade or Thermal Detonator is also nice as a parting gift.

Great stuff, this is what the post is meant to be and what the game is about, having fun.
How did you guys fair in PVP with the Master Commando/ Master Smuggler template? That looked good to me also, but again it just seems odd using those big guns as a smuggler

Little harder for me and my template.
I've been trying to focus more on Artisan-based skills like Armorsmith and Merchant, to really market my smuggling and sliced products better (credits, credits, credits!) instead of focusing on combat...
I havent really found a template that works well for me yet (still building it up mind you). I seem to keep getting owned as im only a CL24. Not great when it comes to the weapons selection.
Any suggestions on anything else i should pickup? TKA? Commando? Pistoleer?
I'm a little tired of having my ass handed to me on a platter when im off collecting my resources.

I like it for the area effects you can take advantage of.
Good thread everyone. I am getting some good ideas. I have changed my Smuggler template around trying to find that right feel. I think I like the Master Smuggler\TKM template. Has a good smuggler feel. I never really liked wearing armor only wore armor as a neccessity and now with the TK inate armor I can get by without.
On a side note, one of my weakest pistols ended converting into one of my best. My sliced tangle pistol converted into a level 30 pistol with 326-701 damage add a +106 max damage PUP and I have a 436-806 damage weapon. and the best part is it is a mid level weapon. I shopped around and it equals any master level pistol. I guess that makes up in a small way for not being able to use most of my other pistols because Smuggler doesn't get certs for them.

Most pistols are based off of CL(combat level). So if you are CL54 and the gun you have is CL30 you can use it, unless it has a pre req. of another classes(ie. Master combat medic,Master Squad Leader, etc)

Well mine isn't very neat, but I've been loving it to death so far. Msmuggler/Mpistols/0040 BH which in the end (if my info is right) gives me these final mods
