Caylin do you think it would be unreasonable of you to planta "bug" in the dev teams ear that not only do they need to truly listen to the community when this revamp happens but that they need to do a jedi type revamp for us a ground up true, full revamp and not fix and change one or 2 things. To covey to them that for how long we have waited and for howprophetic the smuggler profession is, it deservesthe respect of a total and true revamp. Do you think they really understand that?
I think it's a safe bet that Caylin has planted that seed ... many times. The good news is we've seen with other professions (chef, Jedi, etc) that the Devs can redo a profession from the ground up...hopefully we get the same respect.
When I was at the summit I handed in my more recent problems list for smugglers, then went into a discussion about smuggler missions, xp types and a bunch of other stuff. If nothing else I think he understands the scale of what we need.

/sigh, I don't understand why they have such a hard time. It seems so damn simple

yet all the coding is complex if we want to make it fun and involving. Encouraging progression through things instead of being a 'grind'and so on.
well from my point of view here's how it should go:
More work coding=a more involved, immersive profession and tus more of a SW experiance
More immersive professions=more long term players and better WOM advertising
more long term players and more WOM advertising=more money for SOE.
What's not to understand. I nominate that we set up a PayPal acct to keep GreenMarine supplied with Jolt Cola untill we get our revamp ![]()
Yea, that's it. That's the ticket! (No, I'm not buying that either)
