Thread: Wow, many more ships for ROTW

Hey guys looks like 8 more ships are being added to the ROTW expansion. Granted most are advanced modles of ships in game but check this out if you have not.

4 things...
1) Nothing to say about the new Imperial ships, I'm not Imperial.
2) The new Rebel ships. Good because my faves were always Z95s and XWings, but what's really the point? Coulda just made an upgraded version without the little side-thingys. Still, I'll prolly get one, the side-thingys don't really look too bad. (This may apply to the Imperial ones, too except that fancy red one, we all know "Red wunz go fasta!")
3) No interest whatsoever in the Ep3 ships.
4) No new ships for the Neutral Pilots?!?!

I SINCERELY hope that the description of the Jedi Starfighter 2 is just Gamespot taking artistic license. If Jedi get bonuses in it, ugh.

I think the Jedi Ships look AWESOME!

...uh, really. I do. Idunno if you have to be a JEDI to fly one. I mean. That would SUCK. Hopefully everyone can have it.
I would have liked better shots though. Especially of the General's.
Speaking of which...
Isn't that cat mostly machine!? Like some force weilding, Jedi killin' machine?
I heard somewhere (I think it was GL sayin' it on the DVDs) that you don't have as much force power if you are mechanical...metachlorians(sp?) being biological and all.
Which is why the Empire was so interested in Luke. He was stronger than Vader because he was more "fleshy" than his father.
Will that carry over into the game as well? If you get robo-arms and stuff should that limit your force powers?

If anything the E3 fighters should be Neutral ships. It appears that all the "New" ships are the old ships with more mass.

As a now master privateer I dont think I will be using any of the new ships as Im in love with my Krayt and YT. But here is an interesting thought....I wonder if they will up the ship hold on data pads from 3 to 4.

Well, I'm in the Alliance. And I'd love to have one of the new ships.
But I have no clue if the ship limit is being raised or not. I started a discussion about it on the Pilot forum a week or so ago.
I do really hope they up the cap. Three is such a pain in the ass...

Yeah, it would. I've got hte SoroSuub, Nova Cruiser and B-Wing, but would love to have an X-Wing or (even better) ACR-170.
