Being a community rep is a lot of hard work, in terms of keeping up with the entire community, I'd think. Not to mention the sour reception she is going to get in several places, Smugglers included. It's hard being the new kid on the block.

If she were a volunteer, maybe I would feel sorry, but she's getting a paycheck to deal with everything she's getting here. She knew exactly what the job would be like, and if she didn't, she should have done more research (like read the boards).

I thought this was going to be a post about her small post count.. she needs to get on that ASAP.
ooc: ya she is in for a fun time.. dealing with all the cynical and bitter people here on the boards

If she wants to bump that post count all she needs to do is hang out here for 1 hour.
And I'll bet she'll be in the thousands!!!
no joke....

That assumes she replies to each and everyone

With the attitude she took in her last few replies, I'm having a hard time feeling sorry for her at all.
She appears to be able to take care of herself...
And if she can't...you know what they say..."If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen."
She appears to be trying to scare, seduce, and cajole everyone into liking her. We all know how well those tactics will work in this forum...

I work in tech support. Nothing scares or cajoles me any more. I'm happily engaged, I don't get seduced

Much respect for the IT slaves. BIG UP! Too bad Tiggs didn't spend some time on the phone working for micro$uck or some monster ISP like AoHell so she'd have real tools for dealing with what she's about to get into. The sims, pishsaw!

MicronPC, Dell PC, Earthlink, Cox
I had the most fun at Micron. The warranty included a clause that stated they did not cover alien abduction or nuclear detonation. Earthlink was horrible. Dell was okay. Currently doing Cox support, at work, so I'll refrain from saying anything, other than its better than Earthlink or Dell (though not as challenging as Dell....I miss the challenge of hardware support
)

You were probably the one that called in and made them add that clause, weren't you!

If you'd run windows update, service pack 2 protects against that sort of stuff...
