check that, I long for the day when it was a check box on a tab in the connection properties. At least winsock horkage seems to have gone down in xp...

Internet, it probably is my router, I think I did manage to kill the XP firewall finally. I've spent ages grappling with the Tech FAQs for warcraft and other games with no luck, although I never have actually called tech support

Well this thread quickly went in 30 different directions. From feeling sorry for Tiggs, to tech support, to alien and thermonuclear devices, to hating microsoft, to hosting Warcraft games.
So how about the original point about feeling sorry, but instead of for Tiggs feel sorry for me. Frances killed my power a week ago. Having to check email and the boards on campus(Go Gators!!) Not only have a spent 6 nights in hot muggy conditions but recently people decided it was okay to run really loud generators till whenever in the morning. So its hot, humid, and noisy. Great sleeping conditions.

okay enough with the feeling sorry for myself. At leastmy house was not crushed under some trees like many people I know.
So yeah, poor Tiggs having to fight alienswith her nuclear weapons which therefore invalidate her warranty and cause her to not be able to play Warcraft because Microsoft sucks.

This post, more than any other, has convinced me that we smugglers really need to stop getting high on our own supply.

I feel sorry for her because she has a snow-balls chance in hell of saying anything I'll actually BELIEVE any more.
I mean really...why would any of us believe one word SOE says about smugglers...unless it's that they will NEVER have intention of doing a witts thing for us.
Fool me once shame on you SOE, fool me twice shame on me...we're way past twice now in case you aren't counting.

Local or Internet? It might also be your router. You'll want to check out the tech faq at blizzard.com 'cuz' there support is awesome.
