Thread: Revamp Release Date
You know GreenMarine quit SOE months ago?
And that we already got our revamp in the form of the CU and new Slicing?
They MIGHT add missions at a later date, but don't hold your breath. Unless you want to.
I didn't know greenmarine had quit. I'm not actually a smuggler, I just really like the idea of having one (and might make an alt into a smuggler) if they actually add smuggling into the game.
Understood that slicing was revamped, but what else was revamped in the CU?
In my original post I was looking for official information regarding smuggling missions if anyone has any.

Our specials were sorta redone and spices. That is it. Nothing major, no smuggling, no ways to acquire drugs vs be columbian drug chemists.
Well, so do we. Itsthe devs that seem to disagree.

I kinda skimmed through that reading the summaries of the posts looking for information regarding smuggling missions (sometimes referred to as the "smuggler revamp").
Basically, and correct me if I'm wrong, the posts keep saying that it's been delayed so that they can fix current bugs before rolling out new content. That's what I understood from the myriad of posts anyway.
If this is true, then why the hell are they adding Mustafar and a Jedi expansion when one of the cornerstones of the star wars universe isn't in the game but has had the *appearance* of being in-game via a playable profession?
I'm still confused about what direction the developers are taking with the "smuggler revamp" (meaning smuggling missions). It's evident that there has been some discussion regarding this, since one of the former developers (Greenmarine) was posting about ideas for it.
Does anyone have a link to an informative post regarding the smuggler revamp by the developers or a SOE representative?
