Could be MUCH worse! Ask the CH community... Poor guys pets were reduced to level 1 with 100 health! Thats like smuggler slices doing .5% enhancements... or last ditch doing 10 points of damage. Adding salt to the wound, the devs pushed this bug to live from the test centers knowing about it before doing so.
Upset... those guys have good reason to be upset!
Compared to that bug, smuggler can wait a few days. I'm cool with it.

We can? I've been running merc missions for quite some time now, my guildies have been in space. Haven't seen one component yet.

On the flip side, we dont anything to do the more common slices.
Still amazing to me... we can loot the high-level components easily... but the low-level kits seem to be the rare ones.
Once I discovered that splitting 24 off the crate of 25 leaves me with the one salvageable tool without having to disassemble the entire crate, things started looking up for me.
Now I have a reasonable array of tools for slicing (everything except for certain Level 3 components) things aren't looking so bad. I have a few bags full of new tools and a couple bags of WUK/AUK crates stashed away in hopes that they'll fix this, and hopefully soon.

So wait, you can salvage 1 from a crate of 1 you're saying? So if I just split 24 units off into another crate I can get a salvageable item? Thats good to know...
