Have you guys lost your mind completely?

Why did you delete my "petition to Zane, Iawo and Makris" thread? Have you even read it? It was an attempt to arbitrate between members of this community who have - for one reason or another - taken a slight dislike into each other, which was affecting the general mood in this forum.I dare you to point me to the regulation in the EULAs thateven covers - much less forbids - this kind of thread.

That said - why would you bother with such a thread anyway? Do you guys run a search makro that auto deletes every thread with the word "petition" in it? I have no idea what your intention was, but you sure made me mad as hell which is why Iwould really apreciate an explanation for this.

I suspect it has to do with Garva's post on the Jedi board.

Don't sweat it man. I know you had good intentions.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

Votes of no confidence post are 100% inappropriate for this forum (both those about the devs and the correspondent and anyone else) as well as personal attack threads. If you are so emotionally moved by the changes you may want to step away from the computer for a little bit to calm down before posting.

I see, my fault. I should have anticipated that the mods are to lazy to read what they are deleting. Way to alienate a customer. Oh well, what was I expecting from the people working for this company. It seems incompetence is a pre-requisite for getting employed by SOE.

Anyone shocked? I'm not. The minute SOE screws up and the threads come, the mods swoop in here and start deleting threads ala CU.

A rollback is coming, perhaps. We can't be sure, and the mods totally deny it, but IMO, that makes it all the more likely. Hang in there, it could come at any moment... All we've worked for may soon come to fruition...

I am not shocked. I am plain outraged because the thread in question had nothing to do with publish 24, the ToOW expansion, the devs or even the Smuggler revamp. It was merely a completely innocent attempt to cheer this very community up and reduce some tension in here. Now how can a single person be so stupid as to delete such a thread?

Its bad enough that the only answer to their customer´s complaints is censorship, but that they are so incompetent and helpless at it that they simply erase everything that sounds even mildly like a complaint isreally enraging me. The only joy I am feeling right now is the thought of GarVa and his cronies being flamed crisp whereever they dare to show their faces.

GG SOE, way to make a bad situation worse.

Can anyone enlighten me as to who "Garva" is and what all this is about?

Ahh, thank you. Now that I am up to speed, time to join the mob.

Reminds me of when the mobs of Rome demanded Cleander's head and were about the burst over the palace of Commodus...

Hello,

The moderators receive reports from players who think threads/posts are inappropriate for our forums and hit the report to moderator button. It is then the moderators job to review the thread and posts within it to see if it is within our guidelines. If the post is not within the guidelines it is removed. If the main post is within the guidelines however there are posts afterwards that aren't they will be removed.

When a post is removed all posts replying to it are also removed. This is where our players should be careful with what they are replying to.

I have not seen your post however I will ask the moderators tomorrow what happened.

I don't understand the red part. What could happen? A ban for replying, or you mean their post is deleted as well?

No. Reread it. If you reply to a post and that post is deleted, then yours will be too. So will every post which is a reply to yours. If you think a post is potentially going to get deleted, use the reply button on another post. Some people just hit the bottom most reply button without any intention of Quoting the post and ends up in the crossfire.

I just wanna point out that you're not a gangster because nobody likes you.
If you're anti-gun, will you think twice when a burgler has his to your face and you can't do anything about it?
Some people define hell as infinate repetition. SWG must be hell.

The best way to understand this is to change your prefrence to threading. Whole branches will be deleted at the fork.
