This seems to be the popular choice for double capped enhanced weapons but I think it sucks. it only gives an average of 5% extra dmg. And a spd pup is usually used with it which means you run out of action real quick.
I think the best choice for these enhanced weapons is a spd slice with a sac pup. Much better for longer fights.

While I agree with you, the customer is always right.
Boy, I wish Tiggs would read this.

you are oversimplifying things.....
there is no ONE right way to do things....
I also use a crit sliced/speed pupped fwg....why? as it can do burstdamage LIKE MAD which can be VERY handy sometimes
BUT I also have some other pistols I use for all the time I don't need burstdamage, mainly one made for speed (with speed/dam slice)with 70-75 sac, and one double capped with a speedslice.
these last two use a SAC pup...number one if mainly for applying states as it's the fastest pistol I have, number two well...it's what you say is the only ay possible
people need to learn you can gain BIG advantages from using different weapons, built for difference functions
the simple "it only adds 5% damage" does not cut it at all as you forget the very high speed, and the fact that statistically you should get 2 Adv. crit shots to crit in 10 seconds as it now has a 20% crit chance
in this very healing-centric new combat system burstdamage has become VERY important

hmm, i just read the faq thread again and it says a crit slice gives a 10% chance to do double dmg. Iknow it said 10% chance to do 50% more dmg before. WTH is going on? Which is it?

well from what I've seen in the combatlog it seems more like 20% to me...though some people say it's 25% which is possible too
now I'm really confused. Now both the % chance that it lands and the % additional dmg factor have been reported to be wildly different.

its not 5% more damage its 25% more damage.. stop exagerating.
its not that hard to figure out the math, just do panic shot until it crits which normally does about 100 dmg and watch it do 125 instead.

first of all, my math is correct IF crit slice has a 10% chance of doing 50% more dmg (like it used to say in the official FAQ) then that would add 5% more dmg on average.
now you are saying that it only adds 25% dmg instead of 50% which means it would only add 2.5% dmg on average since it only has a 10% chance of landing. But if this is true then it differs from the current FAQ which says it adds double dmg 10% of the time.
lol something tells me this slice is bugged and/or not reported to be doing what its supposed to.

just be glad it works at all because before pub 22 it did nothing, absolutley no extra damage at all... ever seen wut a critical lastditch does to a player? about 1500 extra damage. i'm suprised they havent nerfed it completely yet..

its a big deal becausetheres a huge difference between a10% chance to do 25% more dmg and a 25% chance to do double dmg. And anyone with an unsliced double capped enhanced weapon will concur. And there are tons of those weapons out there.

I persoanlly have crit sliced weapons with SAC pups as I have no use for the speed pups. Seems to work out just fine for me

a dmg pup might add more dps than a crit slice, though im trying to figure out what the hell a crit slice is right now. Seem to be different for everyone.

It's 10%
10% chance to apply the multiplier or do you mean 10% more dmg? and how do you know?
