Thread: Jawa Loot Kits Still no love for the Smuggler.

While I contempated the reasoning for the removal of clamps and X.U.K from crates I asked myself.


Self (I said) what is the whole Smuggler Community misssing here, a Nerf and No love? Then it dawned on me "Loot Kits". Smugglers are the only class that can speak Jawa. I saw all manner of cool things possible, a painting of a YT-1300, a New backpack schematic, In my frenzyI even fancieda new Spice Schematic??? /Burst Ppzzzzinggg!!! Off I went--->to theShuttleport. NOOOOOO!!! 9.59 seconds later I had a hundred new idea's. Just a few more minutes and I will be there.


There it is! The city that will hold the Smugglers first sign off "Dev" love since they allowed clamps to be pulled directly from crates...um..well a while. /Target, Click, Tab...I couldn't click fast enough!


Speak to me oh mighty Jawa Trader of the Tatooinan desert, give me what I so rightfully deserve! Raising my arms to the heavens I yelled GIVE ME LOVE!!! Nolar Fe' (A Jawa Trader) says to Screwtape, "..."


Whaaa??? No you are mistaken I said, I asked for love not "...", LOVE I SAY, GIVE ME LOVE!! Nolar Fe' (A Jawa Trader) says to Screwtape, "...". You miserable little... A string of explatives flew forth freely and with great malice.


I built a macro called PowerSpit, targeted the dirty little....well needless to say, save your money, ain't no love in the Deserts of Tatooine for us this patch. PowerSpit runs until the server kicks me off.

Yeah, when I saw the patch notes I also went to see if the jawas had loot kits.. nope.. ah well so it goes

I also ventured out into the hot Tatooine sun hoping for something Smugglerish only to be slapped down with out love like the Smuggler that I am.


Hmmm what are the top5 things that would have been Smugglerish Loot kits?

- A Hookah (No Casino shouldbe without one)

- An autographed painting of Han Solo and Chewy (sell outs!)

- A globe of Tatooine (So you can plan how you are going to smuggle all your stuff in... oh wait)

- A model of a YT-1300 on a stand (So we can all be constantly reminded of the cool stuff to come)

- A big crate labeled "NO ILLEGAL SPICE IN HERE" that people could look at when they /open you in a cantina


Ahh the possibilities are endless

And yes I know you don't have to pull Upgrade Kits out of crates, but I didn't know it then.

So yes it is not a nerf, and I unfairly condemded SOE (just a wee bit).


But still... Nolar Fe' (A Jawa Trader) hands you a little card that reads: "Smuggler's Rule"


It would have been something!

I love it, didn't even think of that...Hmmm maybe you can place spice in it (like a fishing pole) giving you a bonus to all those 100%Organic Spices no one ever buys???

Kind of sad really... this was a great opportunity to change something that frustrated a lot of us into an exciting and possibly profitable experience. But alas, no.
