The straw that broke the camel's back. As I read more and more about what's going on, I realise that if a LD nerf goes through I will pick up a different MMO. Jedi are ruining my play experience and I've always said that if you're not enjoying something then there's no reason to do it.

If it goes through, it shows a complete lack of respect or recognition for my time spent in-game, and for my money spent on the game. If it goes through, then the devs are saying to me, "We don't care about how you choose to play. If you want to experience this game, become a Jedi." At that point, there's really no reason for me to stay. I think that a lot of other Smuggler's have reached a similar point, and the actions of the past few days has been our own "Last Ditch."

Unfortunately for me, there isn't another MMO that holds any interest for me.

The devs need to seriously look at the Jedi profession and take them down a notch somehow, that sole profession is causing too many problems for the entire game!

the main reason i play is because it's Star Wars.

i wanted to "live in the Star Wars universe" instead i got to live in the Jedi Wars universe.

Be cool, dudes. I haven't heard about any plans to nerf Last Ditch, and you know if there were Wes would be on it like a kung fu tiger.

Remember, just because a couple of players are making a lot of noise doesn't mean anything's going to happen. Don't let that prevent you from defending your profession, but don't let yourselves feel defeated before any battles have taken place.

I don't like the idea of a nerf to LD any better than any other SMUGGLER.

However, I'm inclined to see the brighter side of an LD nerf. Maybe all the MBHs that respeced their second prof to Smuggler will respec back out and there will be fewer faux-Smugglers?

This might just be the paranoia of a completely new Smuggler speaking, (and a Smuggler on TC-Prime rather a live server, no less.) but man I hope like hell this doesn't cause some huge split in the Smuggler community. One thing I've always admired about this place is how closely-knit it is, like that whole everyone-knows-everyone feel? It'd be just my luck to have that go flushing down the toilet the moment I get interested.

A tight Smuggler communitygot flushed with the CU respec.

IMO the respec was the worst thing to happen to SWG since the infamous holo-grind.

oh don't worry Tomo, we realize that it's just a couple of j3d3y3 who are spouting off things they don't know much about (typical jedi whining).

i think i speak for us all when i say we have full faith in Wes, and that he would /lastditch anyone who tried to nerf us even more.

and we're not feeling defeated, we're just acting like any good Smuggler who knows that trouble's brewin, we're making sure we fire the first shot!

The original poster has a point, if we talk about the Jedi openly on this forum, we invite their type here...thus it lowers the quality of the Smuggler community. Should another "NerF LD" or anything for that matter show up, dont comment on it, let it die.

So what if jedi are calling for a nerf ... so what if bounty hunters are calling for a nerf. It isnt like we havent been nerfed in the past or that we are the only ones being called on for nerf bat treatment. Have we really only become the "second" combat templet option? Is that really all we have to look forward too? If you only picked up smuggler to "boost" your templet... go post on your "main" proffesion.

Umm... I'm a PvE Smuggler. And it matters to me. I hunt things at or above my level, and it's a great move when things get a little dicey.

I'm also a MBH who doesn't hunt Jedi.

I just don't appreciate overpowered whiners who raise a stink about a useful ability of mine because it actually poses a little bit of risk to them. Risk that they can easily avoid, at that.

So while I can't say that I hate Jedi, I can safely say that I don't like some of the players that play Jedi.
