Thread: Seeker Droids no longer work on Kashyyyk....Last Ditch will be nerfed for sure

What did I tell you about Jedi whining? Now they have a whole planet to grind on without being tracked. I don't care whether or not the Devs had trouble with seeker droids on the planet or whatever, but the Jedi are rapidly becoming Profession #1 even to the Devs. Look at the last patch notes, no PvE death exp loss. They are just promoting the Jedi now, even with the fight club baloney and whatnot. Now I'm scared that Last Ditch will be for sure nerfed since the Jedi get everything handed to them. Lets go down taking as many Jedi with us as possible.

You didn't see this coming? The Devs are trying to phase out all the professions so they just have Jedi to work on. With only Jedi, that's one profession they have to fix and add content for.
Okay, so maybe it's not that drastic. But it is pretty bad with what they're doing. And of course Smugglers will get nerfed... we always get nerfed. It's like a tradition that when another professions gets something added or changed, Smuggler gets a nerf.

of corse the jedi whine and just like in real life the person who has the loudest most annoying voice always willget listened to. ANd i am 2 screwed professions in one commando and smuggler

Taking down Jedi won't help. Whining and harrassing like others do won't help. All we can do is pester the devs by spreading our argument into every relevant debate. Its what makes us a great community. But that's just this old smuggler's two cents.

do you know what the scary thing is? Jedi support it adn say now we can HUNT them...
well lets see...how will we do that? run after them when they could be anywhere on a planet? oh wait what happens if they see the bh? why they cloak and run to some other area. basically with cloak, they can keep running on kashyyyk forever until they run out of force

What does nerfing Last Ditch have to do with the seeker droid issue?, the last thing we need is another Smuggler abilty nerfed.
Was this something mentioned by the Devs or are we getting paranoid due to flame posts?

Hmm. Even though I'm aiming for Jedi myself, I'm starting to disargree with some of these changes myself. No EXP loss on PvE deaths? Ok that I could argree with. an entire planet where SEeker Droids don't work? Oh give me a break already, that is going overboard and I personally disargree with that change.
Maybe it'a s ploy to get a bunch more people to buy the expansion?
Also, I disargree with the whole "Take as many down with us" thing honestly, all that'll do is aggrivate the situation even more, then people are going to look at someone with a Smuggler tag and think "Anti Jedi!", which is supossed to be the BH's job. On the other hand, I'm somewhat against this latest change... so eh. Not sure what actual stance to take on this, but I'm leaning against the Jedi for this latest change, and I'm against LD being nerfed myself as well. I feel that no PvE EXP loss is kinda nice, but I'd also gladly hand that back in exchange for groupmates not giving Visibility.
EDIT: Though as I might be leaning BH myself, albit that's highly unlikely as far as actually hunting goes... (Advance Crit Shot = <3) I do think it'd be fun to actually hunt someone down on that planet, with a nice large group. Kinda like a planet-wide manhunt. You know the BH's are fanatical enough to set up large orignized hunting partys though to track down Jedi, I honestly wouldn't be surprised.

Yeah, why IS this important to Smugglers that Jedi can grind on Kashyyk?
I now have MBH as a SUPPORT profession for Smuggler. If I was a BH and had SMuggler as a support profession I might care but I'd care on the BH board, not here.

Sometimes, in my secret heart of hearts, I imagine that the when the Devs said that RotW was going to introduce Episode III content, they meant that there would be a wholesale slaughter of the Jedi until only a handful remain on each galaxy.
And when that doesn't make me feel better, I hope that the Devs all get sick and, fueled by mass NyQuil induced hallucinations, they decide to add a "Highlander" patch to the game that forces the Jedi to fight to the death until only one remains.
To paraphrase Charles Bukowski, "I don't hate Jedi. I just feel better when they're not around."
EDIT: Sorry, this came off a little harsher than I meant. I really don't have anything personally against someone who has chosen to pursue the Jedi path. More power to you. But you had to know that it was going to be a hard row to hoe. And I really do feel better when I'm not seeing Jedi all over the place.
