Not going to 1 star you for having your own opinion. I can respect it while disagreeing, but your post sounds like it's hinting at a conspiracy theory. I've been in since 1992 and done my fair share of time in the sandbox (among other places) prior to OEF/OIF. Just since May of 2002, I've spent 4 months in Zamboanga, Philippines as part of OEF; 6 months in Baghdad, Iraq as part of OIF; and 6 months in Kirkuk, Iraq also as part of OIF. Now I work AT/FP issues at home station and in theater for the guys deployed outta my unit.
So, I don't really think you "discovered what is really happening" anymore than anyone else that's been there has. You just have (like all of us) your own opinion of your perception.
As far as "Thats all I can say" about what's going on, you and I both know 95-99% of what is going on is available from open source information if anyone cares to take the time to find it to form their own opinion.
If anyone out there is curious about separating myth from fact in all the information available on the net or through e-mail (heck, even in the news. They get it wrong sometimes too. Their retractions just aren't widely publicised.), you can check out this Clicky or others like it and click on the Rumors of War link. It's also fun for all kinds of other things you may have heard of, but wondered if it were true.
let's try to keep politics out of the smuggler forum. Political arguments almost never end well..
