Thread: Riddle me this.... (Updated)

first off i'd say something like factional base entry codes would be something cool to slice into.
perhaps some sort of list of current Special Forces players and their last known location could be interesting to have as well.
think about slicing into the Imperial Network and hacking out this info... then selling it to your local Rebel operative... or vice versa

Bah! I'm having problems with cut/paste from Word, so it'll have to wait...now that the thread may die....great! I'll try doing it from home and see if Ihave more tiem to play around with the issue.
That is a good idea Gany, faction information should be a good commodity.
Faction terminal:
1) Number of SF currently active for that side on that planet
2) Last time terminal was used and by whom
3) Possible wp to another faction term
BH terminal:
1) Number of BH currently holding missions
2) Number of Jedi with open missions
3) Last time terminal was used and by whom
Starport terminal:
1) Number of ships currently docked
2) List of current flight plans
3) List of pilots who recently left and ship names so we may mock the uncreative
Holonet terminal:
1) Juicy and useless gossip

I'm having trouble with the "style =" crap....just as I thought I would....

Easy way around the =style annoyance - when your post is ready to go, highlightthe textas you would do when colouring it, but select that white, plainAutomatic option first, then the colour/style thetextyou want.
Works for me every time
Me? If so, yeah, format the highlighted text using the Automatic option in the text colour box, then choose the desired colour. That Auto option obviously clears the hidden code (?) or something
yeah cpz, that seems to work for me as well.
as for more information... how about locations of faction bases?
in the past, i've tried to scout them out manually while i was surveying, and sell that information to the opposing faction.

Sounds like you don't need that ability.... You're doing a good job of finding them yourself.

Your problem is you're cutting and pasting from Word. Word has associated code with it so it maintains the look you choose when you cut and past. That's why you're told not to use it for coding programs or scripting websited and the like. Use a program which doesn't have underlying formatting associated with it, like Notepad.
