Can you hear it? Wonder what that noise is?
It's all the SOE programmers screaming at upper managment that they can't push CU live cause it's not ready. But of course all of us programmers know that managment doesn't listen.

Hmm I read it as they're just updating/upgrading the servers in preparation for the curb. Lets hope for a more definitive followup soon.

If you hit the Combat Upgrade link on Tiggs post it clearly says: "New Game Features go live this week for Combat Upgrade. "

Just when the subsciption of one of my chars runs out. Emptied & cancelled.... seems like the only way that will teach them. Sad, sad.

I'm in shock.. and bit pissed. CU isn't ready, yet they push it on us. If anyone ever believed that SOE listened to the player base, here's the proof that SOE gives a flying rat's a$$ about us and could care less what we think.

...As I walk down the hall, I pass a meeting room. I happen to overhear some suit and tie guys discussing the CU Live date.
Suit#1 - "We need to get this damn think LIVE this week!" "They are releasing the 2005 F1 Ferrari, and I need my bonus check to get one!"
Suit#2 - "Yea, and I'm do for a much needed vacation, haven't been on one in 3 weeks!"
::Suits begin to leave the office:::
DEV#1 - "Ahhhh...Hmmmmmm.. Ok"
DEV#2 - "Well at least the Smugglers will be happy, all the attention will go towards their revamp."
::Suit pokes his head back in."
"And another thing, scratch that Smuggler thing were doing as well. I'm thinking I'll be on vacation for a while."

"B*STARDS!!!!!"

Seriously, what's with the surprise, I've been saying that the CU was going live before ROTW since they announced CU was hitting TC.
You act like this is the first time the SOE/LA tag team pushed a game out before it was ready. Anyone remember a game called, StarWars Galaxies: An Empire Divided?

The question is: will it be as bad as everyone is predicting; or are some people simply unhappy because they dont have time to grind or re-grind, in some cases, their respective professions. Im inclined to think it has alot to do with option 2, but legitamately (sp) the first.
