Check the bottom of the article.

"Han Solo was voted the favourite hero..."

What was that Devs? We all want to be Jedi? The end-game should be Jedi because that's what StarWars fans want? Thanks for clearing that up.

Hey, did you notice that crap that Lucas said in the artical about how star wars was always about the story of Darth Vader? And how he never ever imagined anything would happen after ROTJ?

I've heard of revisionist memories, but that's just silly. He said back-in-the-day that he had pictured a 9-episode series starting and that he started in the middle... He also said that right up until the actual filming of the ESB scene where Vader says he's Luke's dad, that no one knew it was to be so. In fact, I guarantee that when he wrote the original SW movie he never pictured ANY other movies.

Don't get me wrong... Darth Vader is one bad dude (even if Anakin is a whiney baby)... but the story was SO not about him from the beginning. The story was about Luke when Star Wars was written. Eps 1-3 were totally written on the fly. There's no way that crap in Eps 1 & 2 were pre-planned for decades.

Who's he tryin' to fool here?

I wouldn't blame the Dev's, unfortunitly I have never know a developer that wasn't told what to work on by someone who knows nothing about the product. rotten marketing flunkies are to blame...

i've been saying this for a long time. i see so much hate thrown at the devs, and you know it's not really their fault. if left alone, they would prbably create a masterpiece remembered for all time. it would take a decade to code, hence the need for publishers to keep the timetables usable, but it a masterpiece nonetheless.

it's the schedule pushers that create most of the problems for us, not the devs. i imagine the programmers probably fall asleep crying each night as they wonder what has happened to their dream product. the publishers just count the cash comming in and make stupid suggestions each time they think they can milk a little more out of the customers. the devs have to do what they are told in order to keep their jobs.

support the Devs!!Rise up against Sony and LucasArts!!

I remember reading something back when I was a kid about there being 9 movies. It said something about the 9 movies were about the civil war in the galaxy being seen through the eyes of 2 droids(R2-D2 and C3PO). Which actually made sense to me at the time because of the opening scene in Ep.4(with the droids). But then it became the 6 movies story. I still like them though.

even though jedi is almost the center of the storyline for the first trilogy, it had less exposure in the OT. the idea of jedi andthe force is cool, but the force was never what sold star wars to me. it was the empire, the stormtroopers, mos eisley, jabba the hutt, i could go on forver. the force was always just a bit of a side dish for me. well thought out stories like in the first one were a little more entertaining then the next strongest jedi casting his most powerfull spell.

dont get me wrong, i still love basically everything about star wars.

Lucas is such a swarmy jag-off.

Han Solo: 'It's the ship that made the Kessel run in less than twelve parsecs'

Lucas (after EpIV came out): Oh, wait... a parsec isn't a measurement of time? Um... what Han MEANT was that he took a route that was shorter than anyone else had been able to run because... um... because he flew SO CLOSE to the black hole cluster and he was only able to do that because he was flying so FAST. Yeah. That's what I meant. Would you like to buy some ewok dolls?

lol, i always hoped it would be along the lines of "Knot"

it's not short for Nautical miles, it's short for nautical miles per hour so, less then 12 parsecs, not the real parsecs..the parsecs per day one..yeah, that one.

That's because the movie Episode 4 is based on, "The Hidden Fortress," is told from the perspective of two bumbling thieves, that just so happen to behave a lot like a cross between Han and the droids...

Also, enjoy Whaaaaaaat?
