Thread: Ok smugglers you got your DL44 back. All weapons are now lvl based.

Yes Smugglers and any other profession can use the DL44xt or any other weapon for that matter.
Weapon certs are now level based so as long as you have the required level you can use the weapon.
Hopefully all the "we want our han solo weapon" threads will now die.

They said "most", not all. They did said some "iconic weapons" would still beskill box specific.
No idea what it will mean for the DL44XT when this is implemented tho.We will see.

Seriously, not sure the Master box weapons will be distributed like that. They did say they would be limiting some, and I think the Master box ones will be.
Not a problem for me, I plan on being a Master Pistoleer anyway, but I'll prolly use the Renegade or the trusty FWG5.

As I said before, I don't think the Master Box weapons will only have the level requirement, but will also have the specific box requirement. Helios said some weapons will still have a box as part of their requirements, and I'm sure the Master Box ones will be this way. Already he said the Commando weapons will still require Commando boxes. I think it's some of the more generic weapon certs that only level will apply to, since the main point is to help with leveling a lower skill.
Make sure you don't put down a non-refundable deposit on that Initmidator...

I think the Jawa Ion will be a neat little pea shooter to have around. Does anyone know if the Jawa Ion is craftable or is it loot based? If it's loot based, I'll be an easy person to track, just follow the Jawa corpses.

I always thought the ion pistol looked like a backup gun for a smuggler or other shady type.
