Try asking if they can create a Civilian, PvE enabled group as well. Heck, even a Civilian, PvP enabled.

Sorry to steal some of your thunder there JTG.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

Civilan and people on "leave" from their factionneed to be subject to major fines and attack( if they run) from the empire. The crack down now needs to move twords Spice and Slice in a big wayand not focus mostlyon rebel seek and destroy or we go right back to where we were before the crack down pub.

Any word on this one Wes??

Very good point. Have you realized that contraband scans will not happen to Rebels at all with that new system? They will NEVER be scanned, just shot on sight.

If the Empire knows that you are a Rebel, doesn't it make sense that you would be shot on sight?

Yep that is why we need the crack down to focus on civilians and low lvl Imp's now(or all Imp's what ever your point of view) or once again we go back the the crack down being pointless.

I am not saying that doesn't make sense. I am saying that all Rebels will never need a smuggler to get them past scanning teams.

I suggest that local authorities like Fed-dub, CorSec, etc. should do contraband scans on all players as well. This way Rebels will still need to rely on smugglers... ah hell, nm. Perhaps it makes better sense for Rebels to never worry about contraband scans.

If Rebels never need to worry about scans, then they won't really care if they carry sliced goods or not. This means that smugglers will be needed by Rebels primarily for slicing. It is a hard life as a Rebel being shot on sight everywhere, might as well throw them a bone... they can't use ATST.

The bottom line is Scan's for spice and slice need to change and in a big way. Scan's for rebels in my mind seem great. I feel very strongly that civilians and people on leave from both factions (your on leave aka a civilian)now need to be the focus (again for slice and spice), it makes sense. The Empire is suppose to police civilians, I hope the Dev's recognize the need for this not only from our end but from a story line point of view.

Perfect! It should be about slice and spice - and importing/exporting restricted items off/on planet.

While it's great to kill rebels - What got me is that if you're a rebel - it's not like you're holding a "I'm a Rebel" Driver's license or wearing a badge that says "I'm a Rebel - ask ME about the Rebellion" or some such thing. A rebel is going to look like a civilian and should be treated as such.

Maybe if there was a visability system like Jedi in place so that a rebels deeds, if severe enough bring them to the attention of the Empire, then Imperials at the starport could deal with them, but definately, until that's sorted out - it should be about contraband.

As always, just my 2 cents

Cheers

All I know is I found myself on the wrong end of a squad of those new STs. They were lead by a Nova dude with a 110k healthbar.

Actually, I took outa NOVA last night while my guildie took out the other 12. He was tough sure, but he was rifle equipped and kept running to try to get me into his sweet spot range. I just /followed and beat on him, but it was on Dant, and he kept swimming through lakes, AND shooting at the same time.

The NOVAs don't equip melee when at close quarters like the base defenders, their code is the same as all the other crackdown troops, just stronger.

I will say, a rifle eqipped one is easier, cause it's tough for them to get 50-60 m away from you, I went against a carbine equipped one and he was decimating my HAM at 20m until I could get up on him
