Thread: example of why Exploit slicing needs fixed -sorry this one i hope :)

And as for saying that 35% would be the best uhhh, wrong. They may have exploited using a pup, but 35% is in no way a cap, imagined or real. I sliced a pistol for 37% the other day and a pair of boots for 43%......
As for these weapons being exploited using a pup, yep thats what happened, but not a slicing thing. A pup thing and personally I wont count a weapon as what it really is unless the name is not yellow since yellow means it is powered up....

Armor can be sliced to 45% for encumbrance. As for weapons, I've never seen, nor heard of a slice above 35%.

Moreever, the devs have stated that 45% for armor and 35% for weapons is the cap

indeed i did. why not, smuggler show me that, and it was like "cool"

It doesn't matter how many smugglers refuse to do this sort of thing, there will always be people willing to take up the profession just to use this exploit. That is human (and wookie, zebrak etc...) nature..

Yeah...these numbers are pretty consistent with what you would find with the P-up exploit...
If you check out the table in THIS post, you'll see that the actual reported results were:
24% on Rifle 1
27% on Rifle 2
and
26% on the Jawa
It's sad that the devs haven't come up with a fix for this yet. But, until they do, just /report the offending players. Other than that, all you can do is /sigh and sit back and wait.

We aren't talking about selling weapons with pups on them already. This is an exploit that is able to slice the weapon with a pup on it and thus get a higher slice on it than it should. And as everyone else said weapons max at 35%. If you sliced one for 37% I'd like to see the screenshot saying "sliced weapon for 37% damage/speed"

just for ur info i bought a 574 sliced one from him.......pff i dont care if its an exploit, its a fine assed rifle..if it gets deleted i ll hunt merou down for selling me faulty goods....or something
but i ve shopped at his place before and never had any trouble soi dont belive he did this intentionally
