Personaly im a little superstitous when it comes to slices, and yes I know that NOTHING AFFECTS SLICES so dont start that C--P.

for example i wont slice in side a static city, cause personaly for some reason my slices tend to turn out poor.

also i wont slice when buffed

not hopped up on a little pixie or mulon

not slicing when in armor

personaly my best slices have come at my house, siting on the couch in front of my MISTEROUS GLOWING ORB. hows that for superstitous? lol

IM serous almost4.5 out of 6 slices in front of it are dammage for weapons or encumbrance on armor. now i dont know if this is just a hot streak that ive been on but wow. over 100weapons ive done that way and 74% of them were dammage? and of the 100 armors ive sliced that way 72% were for encumbrance. ive havent done extensve testing away from my home but everytime i slice out on the town, i get the exact oppisite persantage, like near 70% speed slices.

is any one else getting superstitous? or is it just me?

absolutly nothing effects slicing....

there I opened the crap door

I have had several streaks of max slices including 4 45% encumb slices on the same suit

it happens

I've also gotten crap slice strings as well

but you keep staring at the orb if it makes you feel better

Hehe, so far I haven't found really anything that seems to offer me better slices, supersition or not. Though I seem to screw up less when I'm out of lag.

It pains me that I can't select what I want to slice. Oh the joys of being a new smuggler.

No matter what I'm wearing, eating or doing, after 1000's of slices it's still random - unfortuntately.

I know nothing affects slicing results, but I still like to berate the customer for telling me what type of slice he wants:

The slice gods are always listening, and they are not merciful. I had three people kneeling in front of me saying "Obladi,Oblada, slice goes on, braah! Lalalala slice goes on" and pulled a 19% speed slice.

I'm assuming this was a serious question since you did not have the obligatory indicating sarcasm...

'4.5 out of 6 is '9 out of 12' which is '3 out of 4' which is 75% which means it was most likely statistically insignificant sample size since we already know that a statistically significant sample size yields 50%.

Why he chose to represent 75% as "4.5 out of 6" is utterly beyond me though. *shrugs*

See I don't think it has anything to do with what you're doing in-game which is why I;

1. Sit on my chair with my left leg tucked under my ass,

2. Arrange my watermug to my left, exactly 3/4 full and the handle facing away from my left hand so I don't accidently bump it,

3. Place my right foot on the floor with all but my big toe curled under,

4. Hummm 'Yankee Doodle' and then...

5. On the last line of the third verse where you would sing "I guess there was a million" I hit the second cut when I humm "million".

I've noticed that if there is lag and the slice message comes up longer than one second after "million" I get a slice lower than 30%. *sigh*

I really wish they'd fix that lag.

i still slice while in the "bad bean burrito aftermath" green colored gunman's duster i got out of the very 1st container i sliced back in july of '03. i know it means nothing at all, but hey. why not.

actualy i wanted to represent 4.5 of 6 for a reason. my last 12 slices in my house in front of my orb were

5 dammage slices of 6 that day, and 4 out of 6 the next day. i added the 2 days up and devided by 2, so i got 4.5

so no im not crazy, jsut been staring at the glowy orb to long
