Apprently when I've grinded master smuggler, earned 60k+ faction by killing with fists and pistols I'm not aloud to make a profit. Sorry for the long a boaring screen dumps. You might find it a little amusing though.

The poor, poor idiot...


23k FP for 2.8 mil...he was getting off cheap. I sold a guy 30k FP @ 140c/FP last night and he never even blinked. Handed over 4.2 mil to Tristyn just like it was a drop in the bucket. And before that, he had paid Dreven 1.86 mil for a suit of ST armor that he needed yesterday...


Ah well...there's only one command for people like that... /addignore

I know, a guy is giving me grief for daring to charge 100cr / FP. (that's even after I dropped from 110 to 100).

God. Ignorant people. Plaster that frackin' stuff on the Valcyn forums


It slightly bothers me when someone tries to argue with me over the price of slicing and they end up going elsewhere, simply because I don't get the credits. But then I think about the business that I do get and the good far outweigh the bad.


One of these days, I'd hope that they totally restrict contraband resources (Lokian Wheat, Talusian Water, Endorian Wooly) to their source planet and require a Smuggler to transport them off planet. Then I'll get all those whiners backwith 51 million credits in their bank from ebay, solo missions, or craftingwho think 9k per item sliced is outrageous.

I am glad I never did faction sells. I do get stuff like that as a weaponsmith.People are always persistent about me buying there loot and or making them the best weapon with my good stuff for free.

People like this are why I have my pricing policy. The more trouble they give me, the more whatever I do will cost them.


"But you can still make a profit at 120."

"Now its 140."

"But you just said 130..."

"And your whining is raising the price each time."

"But you *can* still make a profit for 120."

"155."

"Why!?!1"

"Because you're being annoying. 165."


And so on. Eventually, they get the idea and shut the hell up or payand swallow the costs. Either way, I'm good.

I just tell people what something will cost them and if they dont like it I just say reply to them /r okay.


After a minute or so they usually get the point that I dont really care about lowering the price for them. I tend to undercharge people though.. probably why I only have a 7-8 figure bank account most of the time.

I think 9k is a bit much for a weapon slice. Anyone else?
