Saw it at the 12:01am show this morning...
By far the saddest movie of the 6.
The downfall of the Jedi, and how they are betrayed could not of been wrapped up better.

I'll agree completely. Saw the 12:05am show myself.
It was the weirdest feeling at a movie. You know what's going to happen. You know how it has to end. But I couldn't help myself thinking that maybe, somehow, it would be different. It's like seeing a movie 100 times and expecting the ending to be different. Only this was the first time you saw it.
Unbelievable.
It's not perfect. I don't think, with everything we've come to expect and believe in this franchise that perfection is possible. But it absolutely blew me away. Finally, I was so drawn in (even knowing where i was being pulled) that i could ignore things that i wasn't able to in Ep 1 and 2.
It'll be interestingto see ifEp 4, 5, 6 now play out a little differently in the mind after seeing this one.
/ThumbsUp and not just from a crazy non-sleeping fan(i guess i'm a fanboi if i saw a movie at midnight heh heh)
I agree whole heartedly, I didn't expect the movie to provoke any sort of emotional response, but it did. I dont want to give away any spoilers so i'll end it at that. Not perfect, but it really did it for me.To make myselffeel better, I think I will go rent Ep 4-5 & 6.
Oh, saw it at 12pm est today ![]()

I was a little surprised that they didn't do a Chewbacca/Han tie-in, nor did any of the smuggler-esque characters make an appearance

I loved the damn thing. Just knowing the plot I was thinking/hoping it'd be halfway good, but I was really, really surprised by this movie. I'm afraid I'm going to have to see it again and sooner rather than later.
As far as the whole smuggler/criminal/comedy side goes, I thought that was a big part of what was missing from the first two.. but I didn't miss it at all in this one.

Man, who cares about Z-95s when those Eta-2s were ruining everybody left and right?
In retrospect, that's one of the neat things about the RotW expansion.. a lot of the stuff in it gave me a little more insight on the movie, and vice versa. Before I thought my Eta-2 was just a nice ship, but now that I've seen them in combat in the movies, they just feel special somehow.
All of which in turn makes me feel like a nerd.

Speaking of the RotW tie-in... I really expected more wook than there was. I can't for the life of me see why they chose kashyyyk as the expansion to sell given its rather diminutive role in the film. But all things considered, fantastic epic - and one I'll see many times over in the theatre... until the DVD is released anyway

I saw it at 12:10 this morning(stood in line seven hours, since five pm, call me a nut
), it was awesome! But, like you said, it is probably the saddest.
I think there was only one thing I didn't like, and that was Boba Fett, or the lack thereof. In my opinion, he should have been the one to kill Mace, for revenge for his father's death. Other than that though, it was great, everything clicks into place.

Just saw it and i think.....the DEV's are in trouble. Our SWG is so far out of wack with the movies it's insane. You heard the emporer, they have to kill all the jedi. Every last one. So maybe the next jedi fix will invovle a massive game hunt and permadeath. Cause that would make it acuate.I don't know butI think thatifLucas wants a game that will preserve the moviesthere will have to be some monumental changes.
