Just saw it and i think.....the DEV's are in trouble. Our SWG is so far out of wack with the movies it's insane. You heard the emporer, they have to kill all the jedi. Every last one. So maybe the next jedi fix will invovle a massive game hunt and permadeath. Cause that would make it acuate.I don't know butI think thatifLucas wants a game that will preserve the moviesthere will have to be some monumental changes.

Mmm not necessarily, Obe-wan reversed the signal telling all Jedi to avoid the temple. True, Vader may have hunted down some of them, but I find it highly likely that there were a few more, like Yoda and Kenobe who were successful in hiding from Vader.

I'll confess this here...

I found myself literally fighting back tears. Yeah yeah..call me a sissy. I deserve it. But to see something that has had such a profound impact in my life play out so tragically was mesmerizing. It met all of my expectations. It was epic and even greek in proportion. I can't rave enough about it. It made Eps I and II make so much more sense. Almost like he had to go there to that idiotic realm of giddiness to contrast so wonderfully what was lost with the Republic falling. Ep I plays like a prequal to the prequals now. Ep II connects the dots...and Ep III is what we were waiting for all our lives (so to speak). Very good. Very very good.

By far the saddest movie of the 6.

The downfall of the Jedi, and how they are betrayed could not of been wrapped up better.

/ThumbsUp

I'll agree completely. Saw the 12:05am show myself.

It was the weirdest feeling at a movie. You know what's going to happen. You know how it has to end. But I couldn't help myself thinking that maybe, somehow, it would be different. It's like seeing a movie 100 times and expecting the ending to be different. Only this was the first time you saw it.

Unbelievable.

It's not perfect. I don't think, with everything we've come to expect and believe in this franchise that perfection is possible. But it absolutely blew me away. Finally, I was so drawn in (even knowing where i was being pulled) that i could ignore things that i wasn't able to in Ep 1 and 2.

It'll be interestingto see ifEp 4, 5, 6 now play out a little differently in the mind after seeing this one.

/ThumbsUp and not just from a crazy non-sleeping fan(i guess i'm a fanboi if i saw a movie at midnight heh heh)

Fighting back tears? Hell I was bawling in the theater through half the film. Just sooooo, yeah. Still in my eyes not as good as Empire, but certainly better than the others.

And as for the cheesy lines, they it just wouldn't be Star Wars if there wasn't a little cheese in there ya know?

Cheer? I have to say, either you are not a 'real' Star Wars fan, just joking, or have just been introduced to the franchise within the past rescent years...because nothing was really enjoyable about that. Do I wish it could happen in-game, yes...but so far as the movie goes...no way.

I think we all knew we would get a little teary eyed going into the movie, it being the end of a legecy and all, but when the emperor said to execute protocol 66 and they started doing that, that is when I started to lose it.

But the question is now how would you rate this one in terms of all the movies obviously blows I and II out of the water, but is it better then the original 3? How would you rank it compared to all 6?

Also there is ATLEAST 18 years between EPIII and EPIV, so a lot could of happened Lucas isn't done yet hes already said that he is going to be making a TV show type deal or whatever out of this so the story is far from over. The fans want to know what happened in those 18 years. Also I'm thinking Lucas is gona have to make 7-9 now 3 is good and I think there might be a public out cry for 7-9 what do you all think?

Me too man - that scene with the lava... the look on Obi-Wan's face - THAT myfriend is a truly gifted actor.

Well done, well done indeed.

Yes man, that exchange was golden...especially the angst and anger on Annakin's face as he yelled " I hate you" as he began to burn...I didnt think Hayden had it in him, but for the first time I was truly convinced that he was Darth Vader.

Went to see it last night about 11:00 pm, Like Wes I found a few small things annoying but over all it was for sure the best of the last 3 movies with Yoda and R2 totally kickin arse. I'm I the only one who will now never listen to the intro loadmusicfor Lok (in-game)the same again?
