Well, if you guys didn't notice, if you have WuK's, you can salvage them into slicing tools. usually though, it does take alot of wuks to get the pieces you wants, and i find that Auks seem to salvage better for me.
As for a price, i did one for free lastnight because i just had to test out the new system, i can say that this new system Blows Hard!
the max slice for damage is 14%??????????
Come on Devs, like you haven't nerfed our professions nearly enough, just keep hitting us with the nerf bat, please!
You are right I went out and didn't loot anything. my price just jumped to 5 mil. The compoents will be selling on the T Forums for millions. We are better off just selling what ever we loot. And forget about roleplaying the lone wolf smuggler. You will absolutely have to group to get the components.
I just upped it to 6 Mil
I can't believe any one is going to go for this.

I did some searching on the bazaar and found people were selling the components for about 50K to 100K. Now this means for armor your looking at 100K to 200K per armor piece just for the components, which sets the base cost of slicing an entire armor set (assuming 9 pieces) to be 900K to 1.8 million cost, adding a little some some for the smuggler and you're easily looking at 1 million to 2 million to slice a set of armor.
I can't believe any one is going to go for this.
I can't imagine what they were thinking when they implemented this system. Go back to making our resources craftable! If it HAS to be a loot system, why not make it where the loot drops of random NPCs, not high end, impossible creatures. No one is going to pay for your efforts. Or make the drop a schematic, so you can at least make 1000 items in a factory run and you have to go get another schematic. Slicing is a consumable profession. I don't see a doctor having to loot heal packs from Necrosis?!?!
I often wonder lately, do the developers actually PLAY this game?
