You know you're a smuggler when your gut instinct tells you to not **edit**ing slice.
A guildmate of mine wanted me to slice a gun for him... but he also had two pieces of RIS armor out of his full suit that were unsliced.
I goto his location and mention his RIS isnt sliced so I go ahead n get ready to slice those for him
Do mind you that the other 7 pieces of his RIS are all 90% base because of the sliced I had gotten a month or so ago. A friggin EXPENSIVE suit of armor. +30m I believe.
He also wanted me to slice a de10.
30% encumberance.
37% encumberance
24% speed.
I **edit**ing wasted several million credits on those slices. The value of those pieces skyrocketed to the **edit**ing ground.
I've really been contemplating dropping smuggler and I'm SO CLOSE TO FINALLY DOING IT BECAUSE OF THESE LAME **EDIT*ING SLICES.

Don't drop ... just next time someone says that say "Ok, next time I slice for you, $50k per slice. If you don't like it, go elsewhere."

I refuse to slice high end weapons from now on.
I just plane refuse to. I already had the opportunity to slice a 700 max NS lance...
I was outside of Coronet where I got those crap slices then I run into coronet and I get jumped by CorSec. I kill two of em by this time I am out of action from my specials and a third one spawns, so I start running screaming HEAL ME HEAL ME as I frantically switch between peace and feign death.
I finally get enough action to feign and I get shot once n 5 second incap n lay that feign out.
I was so close to dying. I would have unplugged my computer and not played for a few days if I had dyed. lol.

I actually like to see what it does. But I dont care what it does to other peoples equipment. Its on my own stuff that I cry about. Out of the 4-5 good crafted geo blasters that I have had they have all goten decent damage slices it weird but Im not arguing. I have given crapy speed slices to my friends skythe's but hey thats his problem.

I thought you were going to talk about how its agrivating to get an awsome slice on a lowly piece of crap weapon like a looted wood staff or something.

As I wiped the sweat off my brow, I sliced a krayted DE-10....31% damage. Heart rate...lowering....blood pressure...normalizing.

damage slice on my krayt de 10 of 31%
this week i slice a guildies krayt geo pistol for 29% speed
and of course it would be the guildie i always seem to get naff slices for who takes great delight in getting revenge by winding me up for months about my great slices

There ain't no such thing as a bad slice.
Besides, when the combat balance hits, folks might start appreciating some speed and lowered encumberance again.

On a binge, I went and got Novice BH, for the Scatter pistol and pistol speed mods.
I bought three Krayt Scatter pistols.
The "meh" one I got a 30% damage which brought it to 1.6as and like 76min i think
But the other one, I think I did much better on, it has a 59min I believe, but I brought its AS down to 1
I am very happy the best slices I had in a while were my own heh
