Ok i admit i am impressed by this...
After the last hotfix i sent a semi jovial mail to tiggs asking if our autopull issue would ever be fixed....
Reason for the awe?
I got a reply,within 24 hours
Admitidely it didnt tell me anything we didnt already know but the fact i got a reply to my minor rant has impressed me no end(especialy as i am a part time dev basher lol)
I hereby declare myself tiggs number one fan!

I'm not sure anyone likes him, especially around here, maybe that's the reason he doesn't show up here anymore.

Give it time, the euphoria will wear off.
I had a couple of exchanges with TH back when he first became Asst. Com Manager which lead me to believe that he might be pretty cool. Nothing of real value, but it was something.
After a while, when things started going more downhill, I sent him a few more PMs just requesting a little communication on certain issues. Nothing was ever followed up on after that.
He has since lost all credibility with me, not just because of his unresponsiveness to PMs, but because of a variety of things...most notably, his lack of respect for the Smuggler community and our issues.

I feel compelled to out myself.
I was an avid player of TSO for a long time. I still check into their boards once a month or so to see what's new. I even have the $10 a month subscription, because I just can't seem to make myself call and say, hey, I don't play this game anymore. Please don't hold it against me that I like to build houses and play in hot tubs.
During the time that I actively played, Tiggs (then Tigger) really made an effort to communicate with and advocate for the players, on a daily basis. She made such an effort that shortly before she left, a new server opened. The players were allowed to vote on the name of the new server/city, and they could have named it ANYTHING they chose. Players voted to name it Dragon's Cove, a direct reference to Tigger, because of all of her hard work. She was completely beloved, even when EA did something completely wrong, because she did what she could to make things right, and she acknowledged the existenceand problems of the players.
If anything that I have seen at TSO is an indicator, this woman WILL work to make things better for players.
And if you are unwilling to consider her work at TSO, let me add this scenario. A month ago, as a dancer on one of the European servers, a player was going around talking about how he wanted to sexually assault all of the dancers. (Odd, I cannot say the R with the large monkey word on these forums?) When I very stupidly acknowledged his unfortunate presence by mentioning that he must surely have been dropped on his head at birth, he started in on me -- and said he'd also like tosexually assaultme IRL. I put the times and quotes into the Holocron help form, received a completely dissatisfactory answer that I had sent my problem to the WRONG person, and decided to let it go, as I had been forewarned that this is a problem in SW:G.
A few days ago, a thread was started in which people relayed various nightmares dealing with CSRs, and Tiggs asked for specific incidents. I sent her my ticket number two nights ago. She has sinceapologized TWICE for something that was NOT her fault and promised that they are looking into the matter.
A lot of times, that's all ANYONE wants when they contact a company about something that is happening - COMMUNICATION. People want to know they are being heard, and if something bad happened, a sincere apology will work wonders.
Give Tiggsa chance. I did - and she didn't let me down.

Sums it up nicely. I have sent messages to devs etc before and this is the first time i have recieved a reply. While she may not have given me the answer i wanted she at least took the time to aknowledge my question. Given the overall scope of the game and all the changes, tweaks, revamps etc we all want(not just us smugglers, although we are of course the most important
)and add that she probably recieves a lot of pms from the player base each day this was enough to impress me.
I joke above i dont like TH,its not so much a joke as i am unimpressed with his abilities as a community relations manager. Someone who works in a customer service role should not go on record as saying he only reads the nice stuff or never really takes the time to at least aknowledge the issues the player base has.
I work in a customer service based industry and the fact that tiggs replied to my PM was refreshing and went a long way to easing some of the frustrations i have with the game.
In true smuggler fashion i give tiggs 5 stars!

Sounds like tiggs didn't read the bosses carefully prepared memo setting the policy to ignore problems until they go away. ![]()
I won't tell if you won't Tiggs! ![]()

I reacted to that offer too after having had my first encounter with the CSR system. During the sending of the PM I several times had to cut sentences and "filler" words, due to PMs being limited to 2000 characters. Apparently something went complate haywire, how I know this? I got a reply PM from Tiggs telling me the recieved PM was empty. She must recieve a three digit number of PMs a day, yet instead of just ignoring it assuming I'm too dumb to operate the PM system, I get a nice polite reply, even included a hint on what might have gone wrong. I find that to be a nice gesture, and for that a 5 star rating from me too
(Good thing I had written the PM in a good ol' text editor, easy to reproduce so to speak.)

I'd say Tiggs earned a better rating, did you ever read that TH answered to a PM from anyone of us? At least I can't remember anything like that during my time in the forum.

fine, I'll give you the benifit of the doubt. I'm going to send her a PM addressing the crate pull issue. Should I get a responce I will admit that you have a point

TH has been super busy for quitea while and Tiggs has been doing some great work in opening communications with the correspondents as she can. I'm hoping that after the insanity of JTL passes they will be able to make a real change in communication.

Well, I sent TH a message 7 months ago and also sent it to Tiggs the day she started, nothing major, just enquiring whether there were any plans for an Australian Server. The server reset time hits at 9PM here, so it is right at the time most of us are settling down to play and the servers can be down for an hour and a half some nights.
As you can see, simple question which could be answered with one short sentence, but neither TH or Tiggs have ever bothered to reply.
Current Scoreboard - TH - 0, Tiggs - 0.
Especially when she finds the time to post those ridiculous little cartoons but cannot answer one simple question.

I received a response from Mr. Stangl on one of the two PMs I sent him, although it concerned chef and not smuggler. I haven't had any interaction with Tiggs, although her arrogant and condescendingattitude in answering some posts has not impressed me.
While I suspectthat we mightsee more communication after the release ofJTL, I don't hold out great hope, due to the fact that prior to JTL they had over a year to improve communication and did not succeed in my opinion.
