Thread: would you rather have it moved to the master box and made pistol only

or lose it all together? or as a third option...make it a pve only skill?
boohoohoo, /mourn or whatever...last ditch as it stands will not last
the nerf's a comin, how should it go down?

Personally I wouldnt mind it being moved to Master Box but thats just to stop the dabblers, Commando's BH and Smugglers (and CM) have to spend 15 more points then any other combat proffesion so we should get something for it.
Just cuz the jebi cry babies dont like it doesnt mean we shouldnt have it.

Well it better not be coming. If it does, then you can count on one hell of an uprising.
As for options... none of them are acceptable. Maybe the Master box thing, but why is it that all of our skills "need" to be in the Master box? Making it pistol only defeats the point of the new weapon certs and all the things they've done with CU.

just ignore him folks... it's just another troll that slipped by our defences... the last thing we need right now is to fall into the same pile we were in about two weeksago, where you couldn't swing a dead jawa without hitting a " blahblahjediblahblahsmugglerblahnerf" type of thread...

I actually used Last Ditch last night and for the second time since the CU I didn't Incap myself- BUT I didn't incap my foe either. /shrug.
Smuggler's luck, eh?

I personally think smugglers should get ranged shot nerfed. I saw a smuggler one-hit incapping a kreetle with ranged shot!
And they tend to write full sentences and all this "explaining stuff about slicing or faction point buying" that they want me too read before starting business - eeewwwwww! I smuggler character should get all his specials removed and get new chatting "word specials". No more free typing but something like the following:
F1 "special1" : "Yes I am your slicing w*ore. I'll slice your stuff from free, if the slice is not like you want it you get 2 Million and can slap my ass and call me goofy."
F2 "special2" : "Yes, of course you can buy Faction points for 10 credits per point, even that is too expensive so I will just give them to you for free."
What else do we need?

Ok, i know you guys are getting all heated about this but think clearly for a second instead of over-reacting. How does making LD a pistol only move affect actual smugglers in the slightest? Smuggler is a pistols profession, so any master smuggler would be using a pistol in the first place, so nothing would have changed.
What it will limit however is the FOTM Rifleman/BH from using this move and causing more trouble for REAL smugglers. LD is a great move and i have it myself, but it is also a move that becomes completely unbalanced when used in the context of the bounty system. Anyone who tries to say it goes against the CU to have the move made pistols only is mistaken because carbineer has some carb-only moves, jedi have LS only moves, so it can be done.
LD being pistols only does no damage to you as a smuggler, it actually protects you from future nerf cries. And please stop with all this 'jedi got us nerfed', it was BH crying like children that got FD nerfed, this time the boot happens to be on the other foot. You'll also find some of us jedi are actually defending your ability over on jedi forums....

Not entirely accurate. I use a carbine most of the time. Kinda negates what you proposed there, huh?
