Here's my story:
I've been here since beta. I love Star Wars, so I figured this would be a perfect match for me.
I'm in a PA that was formed over a year and a half before the game even went to beta. We were all anxiously waiting for it to be released. Now most of them have moved on to other games, most to WoW, and just a few to EQ2.
You slapped the Smuggler profession into the game just about a week beforethe gamewas released, so there was really no time to test it properly. I should have known that it was a sign of things to come, because ever since then you have lead us on, telling us that you had grand plans for this profession, and that changes were coming soon.
Now it's over two years later. I'm tired of being misled by you. I'm sick of being a Smuggler who can't Smuggle. I'm tired of being overlooked so you can concentrate on Jedi. I'm tired of all the major bugs that you won't acknowledge. I'm kinda pissed about how we got the "bait and switch" with the new slicing system. And I am really irked about this whole "If we ignore them maybe they'll go away" mentality you've recently adopted toward your paying customers... and even the profession Correspondents! You'd better remember something... you aren't doing us a favor by allowing us to play your game, we're doing you a favor by allowing you to draw a paycheck. We pay your salaries with our subscriptions. We deserve a little more respect as paying customers.
Well, I'm not paying anymore. I refuse to give you any more of the money that I work hard for just so you can treat us like crap. Why should I? Your track record sucks. And it's made worse by knowing that another SOE Dev Team, the one for EQ2, is much more responsive to it's playerbase, puts out a much higher quality product, and seems to actually care about what it's customers think.
Give me a reason to stay. This game has the potential to be one of the best out there, but you're pissing it away. It's almost like you don't want to make money, because with minimal effort on your part, you could increase the size of your playerbase dramatically. All you have to do is make communication and quality your main focus instead of the Jedi profession.
Once again, give me a reason to stay. Please. Make me want to give you my money again. Promise me that you're going to do what must be done, and this time don't make it a lie.

Can i ask you to redirect you ire towards those truly in power, management.
I very much doubt its the devs who organise their own schedule and targets.

Yeah, but they're our conduit to those in charge. They're the face of this game, so they get to deal with it.

Then at least direct at TH and Tiggs and higher cos the poor programmers likely dont deserve half the crap they get.
Trust me ive worked in customer services, its a thankless job where management screws you over with stupid restricting rules until a customer is screaming like mad then they come out in person set everything right by breaking all their own rules and make the lower people look stupid.

"Devs" is just a term for the people who make (Develop) this game. Stop nitpicking. The management also falls under that usage of the term.
I'm not calling the programmers out, am I? Get a grip. They know who I mean, and that's what matters.

Don't be too sad, Saarek. I'll be joining you in CoH within two weeks.

I'm signing this, and, since I was running an alt, I may just give COH a shot too, in addition to WoW. That's two competitors getting my money SOE.

I still can't get over the Customer Service at PlayNC.
I accidentally erased a kickass enhancement I got from a high-level boss last night. I called them and they re-created it for me no questions asked.
They continue to impress me.
