There are PvP arenas, and when City of Villians is live you will have the option of being a baddie in the same city and you can kill other players.

At least thats as far as I read on the website.

Yep.

Hero vs Hero = PvP Arena

Hero vs Villain = Arena or missions. There has been talk of a designated "Arch Enemy" where two players (hero and villain) choose each other as a permanent PvP opponent so they can fight anywhere they want. But I've not caught up on the latest there.

And we'll be getting Superteam bases where raids will be allowed.

Well thats one way of running a MMORPG - another is the SOE way...

I contact CSRs with a problem (my very first pilot mission is bugged) and am told they can't help me, /bug it. I paid good money for JtL and all I get is 1 bugged mission. I've been stuck at 0-0-0-0 pilot for weeks now.

I'm really want to give SOE my money each month and continue playing smuggler, but I'm thinking 'why' more and more

I wanna play CoH even more now... Either that or just focus on getting my rank up in Battlefield 2. It is a difficult task, but I love promotional ranking systems. I can't wait till I am Sergeant.

hmm City of Heros... is there any Roleplaying in that game? or is it just a bunch of "1337z0rz" kiddies "pwning" each other?

i checked out EVE online... it's definitely a nice looking game. but there's something about it that doesn't sit well with me. it lacks... soul. it makes me feel cold and unwelcome. if that makes sense haha.

I like the roleplaying in Galaxies. Some will say there is none, but I feel that there is... well at least with me there is. All the smugglers and Bounty Hunters I hang with in game generally stick to their character very well. I have a good Han Soloish thing going on with my character... I never come straight out and tell my history, I just hint towards it in my conversations.
