I read that we would be getting Liik for revamp 9 coming up and was wondering if anyone knew what box it was going to be in.

I think we are getting that Jedi spice too- (as part of the Jedi revamp) can anyone confirm anything on these two?

Also, what's ya'lls concensous on having to sell spices and illegal weapons hand to hand unless placed on a vendor in a player cantina?

The more I think about it- the cooler it sounds.

No, noone knows. And there's little reason to speculate on any of this... what we're getting, what we're not, where it is. We should be seeing pub 9 hit test any day now, I'm not gonna say when cause with the DWB going live and TC2 going up the devs are busy, but soon, and then we'll konw most of the details.

Nope not yet. I'd expect to see it in 3 or 4 myself though.

Has not been mentioned as a possible item in P9.

I guess I'd rather have 'illegal' vendors over that myself.

TC2? Are they opening a new Test Center?

Sorta, they want to test out their new Jedi stuff. TC2 is a server that will have alot of jedi running around.

I can grind up the full crafting tree in a day or two at my regular gaming schedule so I was just wondering if I should try and take advantage of the sales that will go down.

As far as the revamp is concerned:
Geevo's has the best collection of our ideas in the sticky. We gotta get the best of them all together in the Document format for a red name to say Yea or Nay though. Someone is doing that I think but it sure would help to know if a red name HAS read some of the stuff and what they liked/disliked. It'd be even better if they were able to point out flaws or points we should focus on.

My goal there was just to get people to go to player city cantinas- The Radiant player cantinas are BARREN and yet Coronet is LAGCITY.

Being able to place vendors in "seedy" areas is cool and allows for me to make sales even though I am not online- or to buy something even though I'm playing at 5am.

Once everyone got used to the idea that they could find good contraband and spices in Player Cantinas they would look for them-
Hell, you might even get some dancers to AFK there instead of Lag-o-net.

It would also cut down on Starport spammers which would add to the realism/immersion factor.
I tried screaming "Let me enhance your weapons!" and "Selling Crack, Coke and Crystal!" outside of JFK the other day and landed in a WORLD of trouble.

I'd hate for it to be in-person sales only for spice. Think of the vendors not as NPC sell-bots, but hired pushers putting out the product for you.

I don't mind if they're in player city cantinas only myself. Those aren't usually too far from the player city malls people buy the stuf from now anyway.

Why not just make smuggler camps or tents. Easy to implement.

This is just a personal pet peeve, don't take offense... but I'm going to hit the first person that comes up to me wanting "some of that jedi spice".

Got a feeling your gonna be hitting a lot of people.


I hope that they DO allow us to get some sort of Mask Faction ability-

That would give us a very interesting relationship between Jedi and BHs.

They could hire us to smuggle them into cities like Coronet to do business and what not, they need spices from us and at the same time we both could be hiding from Bounties.
