well they only have 250k active accounts and theyve sold 1million copies. I would think that those 750k that left would be a GREAT place to start.

Hah, ignorance!

Bay Area is Northern California. Anything above Six Flags we consider north. I'm bottom of the barrel, San Diego, I should know. And if I didn't have school that day and it wasn't a 8-10 hour drive, I would so be there.

Edit: I get 100 bucks AND get to flame the people to their faces? The 100'll pay for gas, the second part will pay for my time.

it's an independant group running the survey. and the questionare probably wn't have much in the way of essay room, probably multiple choice questions....

Define independant. People who haven't played the game and therefore don't have a clue what it needs? Because if it's someone who plays the game then it's not really independant since they'llbe in a certain profession, right? So they'll mainly suggest alterations for that profession. Anyway I'm just not entirely clear on what you mean.

In the EULA aren't you suppose to be 18 or older to own this game? So I have a good idea that the terms and conditions will belong to people over the age of 18...

Actually, that's in Northern California. (Not too far from me -- I'm just north of SF.) So I think the audience they will be addressing just might be a little more sophisticated than SoCal 12 year olds... we can only hope, anyway...

So SOE/LA are hiring in indie consulting groups to do their research because of what reason? They lack the skill and balls to do it themselves?
