what kind of NPC did he want you to slice. and how did he think that an NPC could be sliced lol....i have just lost all faith in humanity lol

I did this one today -
ME: *slicing spammage*
random dude: you have speed slice kits?
me: all slices are random
random dude: you speed slice my gun!
me: *losing patience* no all slices are RANDOM
-fortunately an ex-smuggler friend of mine comes along with something to be sliced, who has more patience and convinces the guy that all slices are random-
every time you get in such a proximity to a smuggler a little disclaimer should pop-up

Have to say, after reading all these posts and almost laughing myself out of my chair, I'm also left with the lingering feeling I also don't want to take up smuggler now as planned

Why? its a great proff, and theirs only a couple noobs like this....and you only get these things when u have Tag above novice smuggler lol.

Hey, you have to thank my rl bro for teaching me that one with my first character. his isa wook master medic. also, i'd like to note, as soon as he told me about this game, i thought, "Cool, i want to be a smuggler." its the sole reason i started playing. to hades with the GCW only and unless it can make me more credits in the end.

Jk all you would be smugglers. really there aren't that many morons out there. more than a couple, yes, but all in all, the majority of the hologrinder population has had to do smuggler... they remember, they know, and they know not to ask stupid questions... unless they're just stupid... but thats a whole other story.

ok, i just had a wicked thought.... when revamp is FINALLY developed, and we get to test it on TC... there will be little to no smugglers left on the other servers... we'll all be nit-picking the damned thing on the test center. what will thegeneral populacedo with out there slice monkeys and spice mongers! it will be anarchy! I love it!

Finally ive got a story of my own. not funny, but a tale of sadness.
this guy asks me if i can slice a weapon for him. i told him 6k a slice.
guy: money isnt a problem for me.
me: ok, then its 100k haha.
guy: if you slice it for damagei will.
me : /thinks sweet.
he hands me aStun baton
it was like 3. something speed and 300 damage
well it turns out i sliced it for speed =(
me: looks like the random slice gods arent looking down on me today
guy: oh well. thanks
tips me 6k
nuts. from could have been 100k to 6k
next time.

Not a silly story more a chuffed as hell post.
I have just sliced a full suit of RIS with not one slice being under 30% and2 being over 40%
All were on effect give a suit of almost full 90% coverage.
I got paid 1/2 million as a thank you for this, but to be honest I would happily have done it for free just for the buzz it gave me.
Though saying that i have finally got that all important damage slice on a DE-10 on the 6th attempt finally giving me a pistol worth using in pvp othen than the traditional Geo Blasters. 567 Max dam is enough to ruin anyones day when used with eyeshot on a speed cap

Well, it'll probably be good for them to not have anyone around to slice their super-ub3r-l33t weapons for a change.
And will soften them up nicely for when we return from TC to our own servers and start to really screw them over. :-)

Phoenix, I don;lt knwo if it is coincidense, but somthing similar happened to me in the past two days and is still on-going
I had just gotten Master Smuggler, and I went to a player city to visit a friend and to see the work she had done. Now this is a very RP city, which I find awsome, but some people, lets not say take it too far, but don't know who they are dealing with.
While chatting with my friend in the cantina, this Rodian is "whispering" to his fellow guildie about how they havent seen me and are going to investigate me. Then the Rodian asks me outside, which I don't care, and I'm not worried (he was a Swordsman, and I have smuggler and commando on my belt). So we go outside, and he brings me to an alley way (RP remember) and starts asking me what I do for work. So I tell him im a "trader" (not too far from the truth). He procedes to tell me that He knows I'm a Smuggler (must have been an epiphany to him because I has my tag on) and that this is his guild's town, and to do my business elsewhere, or pay up, or face consequences.
I look at him, and I told him that I do business wherever I want, and not to threaten me again. And whithough even looking around I say "And if you are going to challenge me, have your hired goon of a Bounty Hunter stay back, you can fight me alone" right has his BH walks up behind me holding his gun
Just my doing this he told me three things: He can't fight, He knows he can't win, And he's loosing business.
Well, after that I said my goodbye to my friend and logged in the cantina. Next day I login and she's sitting there and she tells me I should have been there about ten minutes ago, when he was threatening her. Of course he logged, but now I am going to be waiting for this guyat this cantina, and when he doesn't have his lapdog with him....
