Is that the best macro to date?

Alter it to suit your needs, but it is about as good as it gets.

This is my version of the macro, just target the recruiter, then the customer then the recruiter again and run it

Name the macro Fps and it will work.

the /ui action cycleTargetNext; will target your customer, the /ui action cycleTargetPrev;
will target back the recruiter. No need to edit the macro to change the customer name every time.

It is my hope that the coming macro loop nerf will somehow accomodate for smugglers. this is far too cruel and unusal punishment to ask us to do all these clicks. It is also my hope that the devs are lazy, and will just allow us to enter in faction amount, pay the credits, and get it all in one fell swoop.

Just wondering what's the going rate on your server? It sounds like 94.4 is the 'cost' for a colonel for each FP. On sunrunner, the delegate rate is about 150 credits per FP.

When I was selling on Bria, going rate for Rebel faction was 100 cr / pt. With the 10% bonus for winning the GCW, "cost" for Rebel faction is only around 85.5 cr / pt.

(most) Imperial faction was 110-120 cr / pt.

What is this 10% bonus, how does that work into the equation? And how do I know if my side is winning the GCW, is it server-specific, or is it generally over all servers?

During and after the Cries of Alderaan story arc, Rebels were recieving a 10% FP bonus for winning. Which meant any time they recieved FP for anything, they also recieved an additional 10% bonus. If you killed an Imp and got 20 FP, you got 2 more FP for the bonus...

And as a Smuggler, when you bought FP from the recruiter, you also got the 10% bonus...so instead of just getting 125 FP for 10k creds, you got 138...which meant Rebels were able to charge less for FP, but still make more profit than Imp Smugglers...

I have no clue if this is still in effect...

Can a Rebel FP seller chime in here?

Killed some Stormtroopers yesterday, each worth 18 points plus 2 Cries of Alderaan points, for 20 total. Must still be in effect.

Never mind...I got it all worked out...

OK...just to bring an old thread back to life...

I need someone who is more macro-saavy than I to check this out...

I'm working on ways to streamline my macro process a little, as well as become a little more accurate...

So, here's what I've come up with.

I basically broke the original macro into a "parent" macro and two "daughter" macros...

The "daughters":

Buy

/conversationstart;

/pause 1;

/ui actionconversationResponse5;

/pause 1;

/ui action conversationResponse3;

/pause 1;

/ui action conversationResponse0;

/conversationstop;

/pause 1;

/m Buy;

Transfer

/del [client] 200;

/pause 9;

/m Transfer;

Now, I put the parent together like so:

FPXfer

/m Transfer;

/m Buy;

What I'm now wondering is if I can write several varions of the "parent" macro to distribute a set number of points...

For instance:

FP1000

/m Transfer;

/m Buy;

/pause 46;

/dump;

Should go through 5 transfers (1000 FP)and then /dump all of the macros.

Anybody see any flaws in my logic? Or is anybody doing this already?

You could change the /pause to be any value before the dump...thus allowing custom macros for 5k, 10k, or 20k points...assuming I've got everything worked out anyway.

Based on my current math, I can use this and transfer 10k FP in about 6.5 minutes.

Anyway...just reviving old ideas and trying to improve on one of the things that I still enjoy in the profession...
