As long as you retain the minimal faction points (200), you will retain your rank of Colonel and be able to sell at the Colonel rate.

one dump question i still don't get. if i was colonel (for good selling ratio) eighter by missions or by finding a smuggler buddy and i have a client apointment to sell him X FP... Will my rank drop as i am not matching colonel prerequested points any more?
meaning do i need to buy me up everytime from 200 (or whatever left) to colonel or will i be a colonel with just 200 FP able to sell out once again at good ratio...
Anyway great guide tank you!
The only way you'll drop below your 200 point minimum is if you are low on faction points and get killed in PvP. You'll still retain your rank (unless this has changed since the last time I got killed and went below my 200 pt. min.) and your faction status.
The /delegatefaction command will not let you /del below your 200 pt. min. If you have 300 points and try to /del 100, you'll get a nice little system message that you do not have enough points to make the trade.
Hope that cleared up your question...

It's sorta indirectly stickied...
It's linked in Caylin's "Important Smuggler Links, Guides, and FAQs thread.

Hey, Dreven, the staff corpral ratio is actually 3.34:1 not 4.0:1. I thought I'ld posted that somewhere to let you know but I guess I hadn't. Anyway, just an fyi. 3.34:1 for Staff Corpral

I have now created a C# program that will do the calculations for you. It can be found here. Right click on FactionCalc.ext and select "Save Target As..." to save the program. The only requirement is that you have the .NET Framework installed (free download from Microsoft Windows Update).

Well, the early ranks are wrong, for Imperials, anyway. When you join, you're a Lance Corporal, first promo makes you a Corporal. Promo costs seem to be accurate, but the caps are wrong for at least Corporal, didn't cap at lower ranks since I just got promoted as quickly as I could.
Corporals are capped at 8,080, not 10,100.
This is on Tempest, where the Imps lost the story arc and have the -30% reduction in FP costs for items. Not sure if this plays into ranks/caps/etc.

Is that the best macro to date?
Alter it to suit your needs, but it is about as good as it gets.

Ok, before I make any large deals let me see if I got my math all sorted out.
Bank: 0
On me: 1,000,000c
I sell at 115cpfp
Client A wants to buy 10k FP
Subtotal: 84c x 10000 = 840,000c
Profit: 310,000
Total: 1,150,000
I use the macro til the money on me hits 1,310,000 correct?
Also just to double check my math, to get these numbers...
10000fp x 115cpfp = 1,150,000 ----> Total
10000fp x 84cpfp = 840,000 --------> Base rate
1,150,000 - 840,000 = 310,000 ----> Profit
This is correct right?
If anyone has some tips about how they regulate when to stop, and all this, please share.
