Not conclusive obviously, but I have a bio-linked gun never sliced that wasn't able to be.

Looted "Illegal Core Booster" off Ghrag Tier 3 in Kashyyk while doing Imperial station destroy mission.

This is out of over 50 fighters killed, and 10 items looted.

Looted an illegal core booster from a Tier 4 Black Sun last night. It was half way through my 4th tier 4 RSF duty mission since the changes, just to give an idea of rarity.

Still no Black Sun helmet though, mumble, mumble
