Consider that you will now be able to charge a premium for your wares when they are illegal. You can make more money selling less product because you will now get paid for your lawbreaking skills. As it should be. Much more fun than what we have now.
If cocaine were made legal tomorrow and could be sold in walmarts do you think the price would stay the same or drop drastically?

The line of thinking about the stuff shouldn't be so easy to get seems to be looking at it from the standpoint of the purchaser and not the supplier. - the suppliers are the ones who want it off the vendors
How many K's of radioactive are yuo going to carry around to craft aome pixie on the spot? - why do that just carry the crates of spice already made we are smugglers after all.
You won't be able to carry around already crafted spice. Both the Rebels and the Imperials frown on spices and sliced weapons. - again we are smugglers, carrying around crates of spice IS WHAT WE DO.
Allow for a smuggler owned vendor and allow it to be placed outside a building. - I dont go to a vendor to buy ...err...."tabacco" I go to a dealer, vendors for illegal items is just silly
I'm trying to create a black market vendor and it is looking as if I'll have to use a small house to put the vendor in.
I 'm not a merchant so I can't place a tent. - a better idea would be to make a location avalible on every plant, a small out of the way place "off the beaten path" that smugglers can load spice onto (like the vendor system now) and make that an unsearchable black market vendor system.
What I really want is a little ratty fellow hidingamongst the trash cans in the alley behind the cantina. - now your talkin

1. Make sliced weapons unavalible for vendor sale.
2. Place an NPC next to every cantina that only smugglers(any lvl)can use to load spice into and any player can use to buy spice.
Now we have a slice market and a non-vendor; vendor for spice and if the NPC dealer/vendor has no spice it's like your local dealer hitting a dry spell.
Problem solved.

I never thought of the tools as being illegal.Probably should be treated a illegal though. - read my silencer posr (like8 back) there is no need what so ever for the tools to be illegal
I really don't care one way or the other just iof they are then that gives me one more violation

99 in my personal inventory
10 crates per droid using 5 droids = 50
total 229 crates

Something must have changed becasue last time I handled radioactives I got burned. That was a long time ago - year to a year and a hlf ago so this might not be a problem now.
So now instead of a crate of spices I get to cary a bunch of veggies, fruit, metal, and whatever along with my tools and my armor and my weapons.

Vendor is probably not the term I should have used. Change vendor to pusher or barkeep or whatever jsut to differentiate it from a merchant vendor.

I'm trying to do that now within the restrictions now by partnering with a merchat to have a "back alley " Black Market" vendor with nothing on it but anything we can make seem to be illegal. A lot of poeple want a Jabba faction. Leave him alone. I want to create my own syndicate.
Your comments to this is almost exactly what I want but I don't want it restricted to one location I want something a Smuggler can control.

No. I have a blue-glowie waver that allows me to hijack in order to prevent hijacking though.

that is so gunna screw up the count Yimaz....what if the final count is 51-50 (i'm counting ona late B turnout) but i counted yers twice?!?
