1. People want their weapons as good as they can get them.

2. Slicing is a permanent weapon improvement

That basically means smuggling is in demand. Think about drugs. If cocaine was legal, it would be much cheaper than it is on the street. I dont do drugs or anyting so idk prices, but i know drugs like cocaine are very expensive. Simply, what im saying is:

if there is a risk to smuggling, we can charge outrageous prices

Yes I'd be willing to take the risk..Would also risk being kicked out to have the ability to hack a holo grinding master charging 1k per slice on weps and armor..Am getting tired of being called an F-ing nut job because i charge 7k per slice on weps and and 15 to 20k per suit of armor..To me my prices are to cheap..

I don't pay 15.00 a month for that kind of abuse.

Since the first day Smuggler was finally added to beta, I was asking where the real profession was and when it would be added. Risk is the only way a smuggler can smuggle; it's inherent to the very core of being a smuggler. Smugglers are not crafters, they do not make spice or weapons, they smuggle them and so should we.

Smuggling should be all ABOUT risk...

I also belive that smugglers should have dramatic fluxuation in there pocket books if you know what i mean... rich enough to buy a planet one day... to poor to rent out a hotel room to spend the night the next

The only way that will happen, is with risk...

That would be awesome. Definately a yes.

As smugglers the risk factor seems great to us... but what are we going to be risking?

I say yes for myself... but will the guy who has the 5million credit weapon I am smuggling accept the risk that something may happen? (also why exactly would we be smuggling an item we sliced? only reason I can see is that players will have to find smugglers to smuggle items from planet to planet because if they took it themselves the item would be taken in customs.)

If we are only smuggling stuff that we own it has less real meaning and so would smuggling junk for NPCs just to get money.
