New smuggler here from combat upgrade, I was a smuggler previous to combat upgrade before i quit and the slices were much much better, I hope this is addressed in the future, but also what i notice is when you slice it no long increases max damage, it seems to increase a range which is kind of odd.. anyway yeah I hope slicing is fixed if it's broken because this is rather disappointing

New to the smuggler prof and noticed that whilst we get XP for slicing something it doesn't seem to count for anything, in fact the whole smuggler profession is just one pistols grind fest

What's this all about?

Well, I know this won't apply for most, but for the Force Sensitive Smugglers out there, slicing xp can be traded in for FS points at a ratio of I think it was 3-1. So a container worth 500 slicing xp is worth about 165 FS xp. I try for a slice of any crap weapon I pick up now...I jus' don't waste molecular clamps is all.

Now if they'd fix slicing (hopefully Pub 19 will have the new slicing system in, kinda bumed that it wasn't in 18) then we'd slice more then weapons again.

oi! you calling me irrelevant!? huh!?

haha nah, but it is still relevant for live, just not for whats coming I guess another adendum would be appropriate but I'm sure everything will sort itself out here shortly.

I've got alot of catching up to do.. been at networkers 2005 in vegas for the last week and I'm mildly confused haha. Wouldn't you know the week I go out of town is the week we get all the changes.
