OK, you have a point, Kaylee and Inara rock.
But I've actually met Eliza, so my vote stands
That's me getting her to sign a replica of her knife - pride of place, it has, yes

Going on from our comments in the Smuggler Theme Song thread, I think now's a good time to recognize Joss Whedon's Firefly as the definitive model of everything we have ever wanted SWG's smuggler class to be.
I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY. Whedon brilliantly captured the "Han-Solo" archetype and then fully developed it far further than Lucas ever did. I consider this show to be a technical manual of how a smuggler operates. Fast-talking, stealth and evasion are prioritized above all, but overwhelming violence is available when needed. But above all, money talks. Although "honor among thieves" insinuates itself now and again. To the embarrassment of all parties involved.I carry a DE-10 mainly because of it's similarity to the weapons used in Firefly. And given that it doesn't appear to exist in the SW techie manuals, I bet the devs added it for the same reason. I even had my latest one named "Saint Jayne" after a quote from the show.So yeah. Firefly for president! Or something.-Zz
Vera is above the entrance to my guildhall. (A Berserker Rifle)
My KSE is also named Serenity as well. (Also have Apathy, Malice, Envy, Greed, Avarice and others)

And if we're talking Buffy, then we gotta mention Faith. Mmmmm, Eliza.
IMO, Hands down Inara wins on beauty. But, watch the ep title Out of Gas, Kaylee has the innocent, not so innocent, aspect going for her."....I noticed it when I was down there on my back....."
Nah Jewel Staite/Kaylee is much more attractive![]()
Kind of hard to agree. Jewel and Eliza are, about, equally attractive in my eyes.
Only if you're smoking crack. Kaylee ftw!
She's smart. She's talented. She's got that perfect mix of shy and innocent blended with blunt bad girl. And she looks damn fine without hours of makeup and careful hair primping and not needed the perfect shoes. She looks good on her back fiddling parts or in a dress. See how good Inara looks when her clothes are ragged from real work and you tell me they're equals.

LOL, I'm actually watching 'Out of Gas' right now.
What about an option to smuggle in space? Anyone done the mining mission where you retrieve the cargo from the other ship? What if there was a percentage chance that your 'salvage' was 'marked', which leads to another questline to get rid of it?
Make it kind of rare, so it's a special thing...jump planets, talk to NPC's, run through some blockades...mmmmmm
On the whole subject of Kaylee and Inara...
I found it interesting watching the special features on the last DVD and Jewel stating that when she was cast as Kaylee (Kaylee), they actually asked her to gain 20 pounds for the role...
And Morena (Inara) has that whole Ashley Judd look working for her...

Yep not very common these days, but it's a light in the darkness to women around the world, and men... God I hate sticks
Too damn true. I look at the skeletorchix and just shudder. No baby, you're not pretty, you look undead.
*Wanders off whistling the "Ballad of Serenity"*

Love the story. Hate the musicSomething imersion breaking about singing we will rock you in a stadium full of knights.
This is very true but the thing is atleast it was something new and out of the ordinary in a film that pokes fun at the genre of Epic movies such as Breaveheart, Troy, and Kingdom of Heaven. O and for all the fan boys who love comics here is the link to the Comic books that will be on sell for the gaps that are to be filled before Serenity comes to the movie houses near you.
enjoy
