Toupée tape is douuble-sided. I dont think they wanted the ladies to stick to the costume - just keep them from getting a little too "lazy" if you take my meaning.




Yea it's used at the Oscars for women who like to wear outfits that defy physics. For bodies to defy physics, double sided tape probably isn't the best bet. Unless you're trapping down your third leg and want your jeans to stick down and make it visible to all.
