were not getting "new" animations, were getting animations period. right now all we do is poke. Your pixel example is funny because Jedi have been denied things like real robes to go over our jammies because of 'pixel clipping' looks like the devs arent as into us as you think.

theyve done more jtl fixes than jedi fixes, do you guys get pissed when you see jtl changes in the patch notes?

dancers also got a revamp, new dances, quest-only dance moves, fancy dance droids etc. do you guys hate them too?

i hate those dancers! RARRR!!!

the only3 dancers in this time period were supposed to beLuke, Obi-Wan, Yoda!!!

HAHAHAHAH, I'm not even going to touch on the first part, the part about being more broken...

but the second part about them taking time to do the revamp properly... BWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA, thanks I needed a laugh today. Wait I'm not done... HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH and a ROFLCOPTER for good measure.

The reason it's taking so long is NOT because they've taken the time to make sure it's been done right. They just didn't feel like doing it at ALL. To top that off, the "revamp" we're getting, is NOT (that's NOT, with an N) a proper revamp, nor is it the revamp we asked for and they promised us.

See around the release of JTL they promised specifically we WOULD NOT be doing glorified delivery missions, which anyone can already do in JTL, and yet, when "Smuggling" goes into effect in some future publish, it will be NOTHING more than glorified delivery missions. They even went so far as to delete the Dev post where they swore we wouldn't be doing glorified delivery missions.

I wasn't trolling. I came to this forum because the only people that talk about last ditch in the jedi forum are jedi and bounty hunters. To a bounty hunter, last ditch is seen as an opportunity. I was curious how people who don't only hunt jedi view the skill. A few people have answered my question and I'm grateful to them, but all in all you folks leave a bad taste in the mouth.

You see, you don't say, I was curious as to how the profession thinks of its skill, which it is, for to you it's not a smuggler skill, it's just another skill to you. There is no respect for the smuggler. To you it's not a smuggler skill, but it is. You come in here with your agenda, which I'm pretty sure is to find some peace with messing with our skill. And it is this which pisses smugglers off. If we acted the same way about the jedi profession's skills (and yes, it is just another profession like smuggler, no more important to the game as any other), you'd be screaming to high heaven. How would you like it if the smugglers started campaigns to nerf cloak or saber throw? Wouldn't you feel pissed? What pisses smugglers off is you think our specials are your toys and, in fact, you really don't seem to consider smugglers a profession at all, and give us no respect or think our gameplay is in anyway as important as yours.

a) Star Wars Galaxies is no longer a profession based game, it is a skill based game. They made this apparent when they opened up all skills for use with all weapons. Any more, profession has to be role-played, and zero jedi encounter last ditch from someone playing the role of smuggler. In the sense of last ditch being a bounty hunter tool, I say nerf it to hell. It is out of respect to smugglers and their use of it outside jedi hunting that I say don't nerf it. If I had no respect for smugglers (which admittedly is waning) I would have simply posted in the jedi forums and helped whip up fury. I wanted to get a full sense of a skill before I made any judgements on whether I think its unbalanced or inappropriate, and that is as much respect as you can expect from someone who is not one of your own.

There is a line in the sand and I will always find myself on the opposite side of the guy with last ditch. That may change when the smuggler revamp comes and I can have "legit" business with smugglers.

b) as far as jedi being self centered, I agree that a lot are. I, however am not. go read my post in the jedi forums. made before I ever came here.
