Without the thread getting deleted, not really.

All I can say is that I really hope that those of you, Drev, Caylin, and anyone else, who plan on leaving, please reconsider. I still remember when Solo and EN left as I'm sure you do. Those guys are missed around here, and you would be as well. I'm really at a loss at this point as to what I want to do myself. I know I won't be quitting right now, but I do wonder where this will take me.
I actually had a conversation with a friend earlier today (totally seperate from this issue) in which he said he's had to convince me to keep playing a couple times. I explained to him that that wasn't true, and that the thing I always complained about were the Devs/powers that be that dictate what direction this game is taking.
It'sa hell of a thing when a company's actions drive away a group of customers that are so devoted.
The worst thing about this at this point is that they know the information is now out there, and they're still not saying anything, just deleting the post about it.
PS- I guess now we know why they chose to go ahead and restrict the Correspondent Forums when they did.

It seems the CU testing process bypassed the selected correspondants and community leader stage altogether
Which is why, I'm guessing, there are numerous correspondant vacancies. Interestingly enough, bioth the Riflemen and Swordsmen - two similar/related professions - are both newly vacated too

To be fair I know that Gabe had announced his retirement before I lost C-Forum access, so I would not read too much into that, as it is entirely unrelated.

not if we've never been given access to anything
