Umm. Not to sound all negative or anything but is it really the best idea to just have a weapon break out of nowhere and then being forced to look for a smuggler to fix it?
I mean if somebody only uses one weapon and that weapon breaks during combat they are basically screwed. And then they have to stop hunting and go find a smuggler.
What if instead the weapon jams for a few minutes or an attack fails to go off instead?
I for one know that my "Repair" services will not be as expensive as my slicing - I want people to go for the UBER slice and come back over and over to be fixed.

I like all the jedi changes myself. The healing has me worried a bit, but I'll have to see how it goes. I've a feeling it'll be fine and the healing lag will be somewhere along 2-5 seconds per heal.

Of course they are. Anything that makes them feel less uber is going to set a lot of them off. I respect the fact that some of them actually took the time to go out and grind themselves to Jedi, but they are not all powerful, and they should have limits on what they can and cannot do. If they want to be a Jedi, they should have to act like a Jedi would. If it means only grouping with close friends (or not at all) to avoid BH's, then so be it.
It will be interesting to see if they implemented the new "Slicing Kits" they spoke of and if so, what resources are required and does quality matter now? We may HAVE to raise our prices for slices...

If by 'justify' you mean 'force', then yes. Yes we will

I wonder if we'll be able to justify a substantial slicing rate increase.... hehehehe...

Seems like it should be fairly easy to come up with a standard price for each tier of slicing....something like
Increase Firing Rate Tier 1 Slice - 2,500 credits
Increase Firing Rate Tier2 Slice - 5,000 credits
Increase Firing Rate Tier3 Slice - 10,000 credits
Increase Firing Rate Tier4 Slice - 20,000 credits
Repair Broken Weapon - 5,000 credits
It will be nice to not have to come up with a price based on a random percentage that you sliced for.

Let's raise them even if we dont have to
That's the spirit!
This stuff's exciting. Plus it will make my Tristyn-crafted clamp/Tristyn's ashes memorial shisa all the more poignant.

Looks like theyr'e trying to even up the BH/Jedi matches.
From my biased standpoint that's unfortunate
The boosted defense to duelists stance bothers me more than the healing nerf. It's not really worth it using stance facing a saber since the min/max damage is so close. But I fight with my pistol, so it can make a big difference. More +200 ranged accuracy booze for me
I don't see it changing my game much anyways. BH comes. I get KDed. I use my jedi heal and kd recovery. If my health still sucks I pop a ruby and a stim-D. Then find the BH, hit my panic button that muches a line of food/drink/spice, throws up infusion and force aura, and then get into the fight. If a BH can do enough damage to drop my entire health bar in the 5 seconds it takes me to get up and stimmed, I'mm screwed anyways
I like those numbers - thats a great Idea.
