Thread: 45% Slices on Weapons

Thats possible or maybe even spice. Also maybe he has some skill enhancer that actually works. If its possible it wont remain a secret for long.
My theory didn't pan out.
And I agree with the above people...I like my alone time. If I spent all of my time in SWG slicing I'd go nuts. I LIKE slicing, so it's something I enjoy doing, but I'm certainly no longer in it for the cash.
Dezidia -- You're not going to get an abundance of good slices at Slicing IV. They'll happen occasionally, but not often. It's bugged and it's something we've known about.
That brings us to Rudd. I think what you're failing to understand is that you're making claims that have been thought of as impossible. On top of that, screen shots are easy to manipulate and fake. You've made 2.9 million credits from slicing (presumably -- I didn't even look at his bank account). How much more do you need since there's so much to spend money on (and frankly, I don't need more credits either -- I hit 7 digits and slice primarily because I enjoy it)? Do you really need to be a slicing monkey the rest of your SWG career? So prove it. Or at least drop a hint. And while we're at it, why aren't you claiming to have achieved similarly higher slices on armor? I hit in the 40s on armor encumbrance all the time. Why can't you use the same method to hit 55 or 60%?
If I went around claiming I'd hit a 60% slice, I'd expect to be doubted and called on it. I can see a 40% slice happening, because, as someone stated above, 37% seems like a weird cap. But with all of the smugglers out there and everyone stating that they've never seen anything above 37%, can't you see why maybe nobody believes you if you can't offer tangible proof?
I'll say it again: put up or shut up.
PM me how to do it and I will give it a try. Then if it works I will post screen shots for you.

I for one believe Rudd.
Anways after looking at the screenshot he posted I noticed that all his tools are in crates EXCEPT for the knives. You can also see in his inventory that there is a batch of copper, presumably for the knives. I theorize that maybe highly conductive copper used in teh knives will produce higher results. Right now on corbantis the average is about 600, where high 800 copper is rare.
Also, Rudd are you a crafter as well? And if so do you recieve more experimentation points on your slicing tools from them?
I'm sure someone must've tried this already, but has anyone tried slicing near a public crafting station and see if that makes any difference? Just a thought...
