I maintain that our 'revamp' is dependent ONLY on what Sony can profit in the way of retained or new subscriptions. As long as there is ANYTHING more profitable to do then we will be left with that very answer you got in your PM.
My only point is that TH personally took the time to send me a PM, when he could have easilylet things alone...especially since he had already posted his response to theforum. I know it isn't much, but ifhe truly wanted to just brush us aside why would he botherwasting timesending me (a faceless nobody in the SWG crowd)a PM trying to smooth the waters a bit? He already said his poece in the forums.
While I COMPLETELY understand the history ofthe Smuggler profession, I have a hard time believing that the Devs get together every week and go out of their way to find ways of screwing the Smugglers. It appears that we continue to be low on their priority list, but after all theaccusations and angeragainst SOEin the past I really don't think TH would waste time trying to give ANY glimmer of hope and risk being called out again. Can you blame him? And yet he still felt that the issue was important enough to warrant a PM in addition to his public forum posting. That is all I am trying to say.
In the meantime, I will keep pushing for a Revamp in my own ways. My way is to stay positive. You may have your own way, and I respect that. But please, do not try to "prove" to me that my staying positive is wrong, or overwhelm me with reasons to be negative. I had read through the Smugglers history even before I decided to go Smuggler. I know there are issues, and I know what has been said, tried, and done. I know that communication has been terrible, that statements & promises went unfullfilled, and that this has been going on for slightly longer than I have been in-game (not in-Forum) myself. In spite of all this, I am STILL choosing to remain positive.Trying to convince me that I shouldn't be positive is a waste of your time...and won't contribute to our common goal one bit.
), so please don't take this personally but I don't think your extremely negative outlook has helped at all either. In fact, you allowed your negative feelings to overwhelm your better judgement (regarding what is appropriate to post) resulting in you getting banned for a week.
