The question in my other post wasnt related to squad leader specificaly either, both were related to game play, those are the questions I wanted to hear answeres to. I wanted to remind people that this is the SL forums which usualy steers away from flame fests and overbloated complaints.

Badchef..the answer you are looking for is addressed in a somewhat unofficial manner over in the politician boards...mainly because its more an issue for them....now if you want to ask the devs if the feature will work with the new bunkers they will be giving SLs to use..THEN...it would be a SL issue! and a trick question as well I think.

Crafting droids do now work but with the new Pet AI system they wonder off half way though the craft and so give you an error on crafting.

Cant name Humanoid droids / Cant use numbers in droid names (R2-D2).

Droids that hover are slower than I can walk – Should be able to keep up with the slower speeders.

Personally, after CU, I rarely use my droids. *shrugs* And I have a DE/SW on Sunrunner. He's not Master, but I'm still trying to get the hang of crafting.

Considering that many tanker profs can get a default 250ish defense and +80 def specials easily, and more then a few can get +250 to +500 specials... yeah, +30 is a drop in the bucket.

That makes perfect sense. I can't remember who else posted the same thing here on this board, but it was for rework or scratch and try again. A lot like myself didn't want SL to start completely over, but some where against the modify our abilities until a patch could come out. Imo I think we should just modified as you said Kharast. But then again, I would also see that as a rework and in a way a revamp since I'm pretty happy about SL as it is. Though I'm not happy about the messed up things we have. But yeah, we have gotten some new stuff, but not nearly the amount that one would think SL's should have.

Even I feel sad for all SL.

A great addon would be to let SL merge two normal sized groups in one. This way a SL will give playersa way to have bigger groups. Handy for RAIDS (PvP) and dungeons (DWB...)

I was leading a full group of 8 last night, and a friend ofone personwanted to join (who happened to be a much needed Master Doc), and half the group was estatic saying "Yeah, we've got a MSL leading, we can have up to 10 people in the group!" It was very painful to inform them that we can not lead any more people then non-SLs.

Steady aim - Since we already have an accuracy buff, why not make steady aim a 15-20 buff increasing the chance for party members to land "critical hits" on targets. Make the SEA that a lot of us still have useful.

funny I was just suggesting this to a friend earlier today... a Critical hit chance buff for 1 shot is pretty uber make it around 20% so on average 2 players in a group get a critical when used. Would add a boost to overall damage that is worth while to have. Keep it on it's timer and it would not be debalancing.


Things to think about

SL Crit buff + crit slice for 15% + BH crit shot 30%? = huge chance that a crit will go off so might be unbalanced that way



Volley fire - Make the SEA useful, possibly making volleyfire increase accuracy and damage by 25%


Retreat - Add defensive modifiers with the burst run but also lower accuracy and/or damage.


Passives - Increase ranged/melee defense modifiers to 80 at Master SL. Change the SL only accuracy and speed mods to group ones.










Passive :



  • new SL * passengers multiplayer vehicule with better terrain negociation
    (speed a bit lower than AV-21, swoops... but better terrain negociation)


  • Let the SL add vehicule terrain negociation to all group members but less than if all the players are in the special multiplayer vehicule
    (only vehicule terrain negociation as walking terrain negociation should go to rangers)

I miss the days when the SL forums were actually very flame-free. Please respond to the question asked, it makes things a lot easier for everyone. There isn't a single profession that is happy with what they have, so please don't be redundant and say how mad you are, without answering Sushi's question! I only got through 3 pages before I got tired of reading.


Since I don't want to waste another post off-subject, I would agree with a lot of people that did answer the question and ask why there is little communication. The Devs and Tiggs can only say so much on any subject, but at least say what you can. We need reassurance that this game is not heading in the wrong direction, and bad news always spreads faster than good news.
